Summary
Omegas are too delicate to truly be able to control themselves especially their own bodies which is why it is up to Betas and Alphas. When an Omega who has not been mated is having difficulty in heat, they are brought to the temple to have them cared for by celibate Omegas and Betas.
However, not all play by the rules, or at least one Beta priest does not.

Summary
When the new priest at the church Mercedes attends and volunteers for replaces sermons about the Goddess’ love and kindness for all people with ones of her wrath and hatred for those outside the true faith, she figures it’s time to move on, but with all the time she’s given the place, she feels obligated to at least confront the priest over his changes and views.
He made a big mistake when he insulted her boyfriend.
And he made an even bigger one when he decided to take the money his predecessor had been raising for an orphanage and youth shelter to “beautify” his new domain.
Mercedes doesn’t have many options, but she’s going to stop the gross misuse of that money, even if the best plan she can come up with involves breaking into the church with her boyfriend and committing some serious sacrilege.
