Summary
Túrin is of age, and Thingol, in an attempt to adhere to mortal customs, arranges a marriage for him. Thingol's niece, Lady Maeglin of Nan Elmoth, will surely be a suitable partner, and this will quietly shut down a few political issues in the process. Túrin accepts this with some reservations.
But Maeglin, stuck in Doriath after his and Aredhel's escape attempt ended with him being recaptured, hates the idea of being anyone's wife, and he isn't sure he can trust Túrin enough to be his husband, either.

Summary
Turgon has had enough of Maeglin pining over Idril, and seeks to give him something better to do with his time. Having Maeglin marry one of the lords of the city will grant him a companion (after all, he seems so horribly lonely!), get his mind off of Idril, and let him take up more responsibility like he wants to. It's the perfect solution.
Glorfindel is delighted to be marrying the prince he's been hiding his affections for, but Maeglin finds this no kinder than a death sentence: he had thought that being in love with someone unattainable would make him off-limits for anyone to court.
But Glorfindel is determined to make Maeglin happy, even if Maeglin can't love him, and Maeglin isn't as immune to being treated kindly as he might think he is.

An argument at the high council of Gondolin turns into an argument on the walk out, and that turns into an argument at Idril and Tuor's house. Somehow, that turns into sex.

Summary
Elrond and Elros did not expect to find themselves captured by the enemy after the attack on Sirion. Neither did they expect that the enemy would be so... complicated.
*
""Three fathers had I who now have none.
One in the earth and one in the sky.
And one sunk in sea as a stone.”Elrond paused. Then he laughed softly.
“And my mother, of course,” he added. “A bird of the air, as she became. But that is less of a grief to me now than it was.”"
*Updates very irregular.

Arthur and six of his companions wake up in a strange time and place, ready to fight whatever new evil has arisen... only to discover that they already know the story they're in, and how it goes.
