Tommy has a thing about Christmas traditions. He's sentimental about the old ones, and open to new ones. If only a certain someone would just agree with him.

Summary
Paris knew that was what he was destined for. Not greatness. Not happiness. Not even tranquility. Not while harboring the burden of stress that came from taking care of his mother. And he couldn't just abandon her. Not now. Not while her life was riding on her son's determination to keep her alive—or not. But despite Paris' efforts, it always seemed like each visit, she grew less lively. Less cognizant. Some days, she wouldn't even open her eyes, the only thing hinting to her beating heart being the monitor that let out beats between slow, balanced intervals. That was what he was fighting for, and he wouldn't stop. Nothing could make him stop.
---
Since Vince's departure, Paris noticed that his smoking habit was growing more into an addiction. It had gotten significantly worse to the point where when he wasn't working, that's all he'd do. Smoke. He'd drag out a puff and then let it cloud his vision. Each time he breathed in, a part of him secretly hoped it would be his last—and not because he'd quit.
