Reese slowly walks towards the edge of the bed where Malcolm sits. He turns the blade over in his hands and admires the flash of silver. “Do you like it?” he asks with narrowed eyes.
Malcom swallows. “It’s pretty,” he says, his voice trembling. He isn’t truly scared—not really. He understands what the knife is for, but he likes to put on a show, for both their sakes. “What are you going to do to me?” He whispers with an artificial fear in his voice.
