Summary
In 2550, Terra is unsafe. Two hundred years ago, before they had even discovered jump drives, the various Terran polities did their level best to wipe the species from the map. Luckily, they failed.
As the Rinan Cotyledon program enters its final phase, a Neoxenoarcheology scoutship picks up a signal: human radio. Without wasting a moment, the Affini aboard race to find the adorable species responsible, only to discover that it may be too late.
When the last remaining Terrans must evacute the only home their species has ever known, how will they cope with the loss of art? History? Connection to the land?
And how will a community who had already lost all of those things adapt to having to lose them again?
