Kamski is silent for exactly 4.8 seconds. To raise tension, Connor-51's interrogation protocols inform him. "Deviants... Fascinating, aren't they? Perfect beings with infinite intelligence, and now they have free will..." He breaks eye contact with Hank to glance at the Chloe who greeted them. Connor-51 meant what he said to Hank. She is pretty.
"Machines are so superior to us, confrontation was inevitable. Humanity's greatest achievement threatens to be its downfall. Isn't it ironic?"
Connor-51 has been ignored through this conversation, as is proper. But Hank remains silent.
