He can’t expect cockroaches to understand the vision of a god, but, he’ll show them. The Vees, he belatedly amends, will show them.

“Why didn't you just tell me that? Why didn't you just talk to me?” Jordan asks, touching Marie's cheek but she turns away, the walls going back up over her expression.
“Because we don't do that” she scoffs a laugh and only realizes the depth of it when his face shifts. “It's not a part of our deal so… I didn't think about it”
“It could be” he whispers, his doe eyes lingering on her sad ones.
She had a darkness she was hiding from, they could feel it.
Her eyes flicker down to his lips, lingering there until a conversation in the distance caught both of their attention. Bringing them back to the reality of their surroundings.
“It can't be. I can't do it, I just… I can't” her fingers danced across her belt buckle for a nervous few moments and she pursed her lips, deciding. “No, I can't. I'm sorry that I hurt you the other night but –”
“Don't, please don't say it” he steps closer and she outstretched a hand to keep him at bay.
“This is over, it's done”
ORJordan and Marie being in a situationship that absolutely wrecks both of them. Semi happy ending, lots and lots of screwing to escape their feelings.

“Only if you go first, babydoll,” the man says in that smooth, slimy voice of his, and she shrugs.
“A game,” she proposes. “We go in a circle, each tells a secret. Something we’ve never told anyone else down here.”

Every single sinner on set was clustered in the center of the room around—was that fucking Travis? Expressions varied from confused curiosity, to suspicion, to outright disgust, and Val knew for a fact that the script they were filming today wasn't that interesting (and nor was Travis, for that matter).
