Nine year old Anakin recognizes Palpatine at Qui-Gon's funeral, having seen him at the slave markets on Tatooine and witnessed him using Force lightning. He of course relays this information to Obi-Wan, who, after having a panic attack, comes up with a plan that involves Padme, copious amounts of lying, several failed poisoning attempts (by Palpatine), cringeworthy codenames, a ridiculous sign language made up to humor his drama queen padawan, a secret wedding, at least one faked death, and the performance of a lifetime come Revenge of the Sith.

Not while your eyes are blue, not while you still have Light within you, and not while there is someone else upon which to lay blame.”The Jedi suffer a mass vision, one of death and horror. One of the end of the Order and the Republic. In order to prevent this and save their family, in order to plan, they run to far corners of the galaxy. They lock down as hard as they possibly can. It allows them to truly reflect, for the first time in decades.

Burdened with doubts, new responsibilities, and a former slave child to take care of, a twenty-year-old Obi-Wan finds himself adopted by an army of clones. The clones take care of their own, after all—but then again, so does Obi-Wan.

“For you!” Julian cried, shoving a fistful of weeds in Renfri’s direction, his smile wide and carefree.
Renfri carefully took them in her hands that were only shaking a little bit now, smearing red onto green stems and yellow petals.Julian clambered into the bed beside her and crawled halfway onto her lap. “I got you flowers, ‘cause you’re so pretty like them!”
“These aren’t flowers, they’re weeds.” Renfri told him, rolling her eyes but allowing the contact with ease. Somedays it seemed like Julian was the only person in the entire castle who wasn’t afraid of her.
“They look like flowers.” He said, crinkling his nose.
“They’re dandelions,” Renfri informed her brother with a tiny smile, “They grow everywhere, even places they perhaps shouldn’t. That’s why they’re a weed.”
“Perhaps they’re a little like you,” She teased, “Growing in even the scariest of places with no fear.” Like a monster’s heart, she doesn’t say.
“Like a superpower!” Julian gasped.
Renfri separated one dandelion from the little clutch and reached out to tuck it behind a little ear. “For the stubborn hero, Jaskier.”

Holy actually ducking shite
Dude everytime I read a witcher fic I always think "this won't be as profound as the last one" and every time I am immediately proven wrong and murdered in the spot with how good this is
Dear God I hope this updates because it is almost too lovely to let sleep for long, but honestly it's so good the author could come in and do anything and I'd still love it I'm not making any sense but I love this omggg
