Summary
Taylor triggers with the power of being a combat genius, which comes with a few nice benefits, including being able to learn techniques of supernatural martial arts from worlds where people shatter walls with bare fists and cut off dragon heads with blades of ice by just training hard enough. Shame they are powers that fit the Queen of Escalation though, and only trigger when she's fighting for real. Taylor would have really liked learning to break walls with punches by training at home.
Needs must, though, and at least Brockton Bay offers a lot of acceptable targets for training, doesn't it?

Summary
Being in the body of a skinny teenager is bad but acceptable.
Changing from a man's body to a woman's was weird and strange.
Waking up in a cramped space filled to the brim with trash, the odd used needle, stained earplugs, glue, and old bandages wasn't what I imagined... it was even worse.
Having an interstellar parasite from an alien with a negatively developed emotional sense attached to her brain was... curious.

Summary
Nearly 30 years ago, the Golden Man appeared over the Atlantic Ocean. That day, the world was changed forever. However, his golden skin wasn’t the only odd thing people noticed about his appearance.
The coloration of his eyes was inverted—pitch-black sclera, white pupil, golden iris. It wasn’t long before more and more reports of people with similarly inverted eyes and strange abilities began to emerge. Those eyes became a physical symbol—the mark of a triggered parahuman.
OR
What if parahumans in Worm couldn’t hide behind a mask? Once a person triggers, the color of their eyes instantly inverts, leaving an unmistakable physical mark of their new empowered status. This leads to a much more open parahuman society where the usual theatrics of heroes versus villains isn’t really a thing.
For some, this leads to feelings of being ostracized. For others, it creates a feeling of superiority. For Taylor, the idea of being a hero never crosses her mind. As a parahuman, she is far less idealistic, and her power adjusts accordingly.

Summary
