Summary
College is already a challenge, but Charley’s semester takes a turn for the worse when he’s forced to take a chemistry class—his worst subject. Desperate for help, he tries to find a tutor, only to end up seeking out Yuri, an art major with an unexpectedly strong grasp of chemistry.
The only problem? Yuri is quiet, a little intimidating, and notoriously difficult to approach. Oh, and he's also cute.

Yuri needs a muse. Someone he can paint on his canvas for hours and never get bored of. Someone who he can depict in so many different colors that range from neon to grey scale. A painting Yuri can finally love, only because of his muse. But he's never gotten close to that, and he carefully comes to the conclusion he never will.
And then his lights start to flicker, and in an attempt to find the landlord, he approaches his neighbor.
All of a sudden, Yuri's paintings have a subject again. A muse.

It wasn’t a big show they were playing tonight, just a dingy dive bar that Rhonda was able to convince the manager to give them a shot, similar to all the other shows they’ve gotten before, solely on the oddly persuasive way Rhonda was able to talk people into doing what she wanted when it suited her. She didn’t employ these powers of hers often, but when she did, they usually paid off.
It was nothing to get overly nervous about; they’ve performed like this dozens of times before, but still, Charley had a habit of building things up in his head until his anxiety was sky high. Although this never did retract from the familiar yet still exhilarating tingle of excitement that came before stepping out on stage in front of a crowd of people.
