Eito made his way through the school gates to the graves, finding it was a small mercy that the wall of flames was no longer there. Traversal didn't necessitate a fire extinguisher and he never failed to take this for granted: it was one less thing to carry, and it meant there'd be no uncomfortable visits to Tsubasa. He did think that, were it necessary, he would have taught himself how to maintain it in order to avoid those awkward conversations, but there was no point in entertaining those hypotheticals by now. This was his current reality, and he'd long since made peace with it.
He'd made peace with the tedium of grave upkeep as well. There was something admittedly therapeutic to this, he found. Once work began to taper off and retirement was in full swing, it was nice to keep something resembling a routine— a semblance of structure, really.
Eito comes to mourn his companions.

Secondly, Nozomi's situation and relationship with Eito are both horrifying.
Lastly, goddammit Takumi... he's lucky his moral ambiguity/flexibility is why I like him!
