Summary
When Light and L’s lives collide beneath a solar eclipse, it couldn’t be under unluckier circumstances. L is recovering from a mental breakdown, and Light suffers from a split personality—he is bound to an alter named Kira, who hoards multiple disturbing secrets.
L is fascinated by his new roommate, unconsciously eager to flex his atrophying detective skills to uncover what exactly Light’s done to end up in a psychiatric facility in the English countryside. Light cowers beneath his sinister alter, who loves nothing more than attempting to seduce his roommate during nighttime hours.
As the dams of L and Light’s sanities come closer and closer to rupture, they may just have to surrender to the flood in order to find themselves again.
