“Wait, how do you…?”
“It’s like a bracelet,” says Yelena, taking the handcuff and Kate’s hand. “You simply put it on, and…” She slides the cuff through Kate’s fingers, and, as if it was alive, the cuff wraps itself tight around her wrist, like a second skin. “Voila.”
Then, as Yelena pulls back, giving Kate space to get used to the cuff, Kate realizes three things:
1. Yelena’s hand is still intertwined with Kate’s,
2. Yelena has just handcuffed Kate, and, most importantly,
3. Kate likes it.~
The handcuff is meant to be used for crime-fighting purposes only, but Yelena's never been much of a stickler for the rules.
Not that Kate minds.
