The greenette drops down out of his brother’s arms, curling around his left arm, winding his fingers through the fingers of his left hand. He doesn’t care that his friends and classmates are starting to trickle into the room, he doesn’t care about their whispering about Hawks being in their classroom and why Takami was hanging onto him, he doesn’t care about any of it.

And that meant that it was their time, their time was here, it was finally here, after years and years of long distance relationshipping, they were finally together again. Izuku doesn’t want to let go of him, his brother squeezes his hand, in case it turns out to be a dream, one he’s had every night for the last ten years, and he’ll wake up alone in his bed with his red feather being the only reminded he has that his brother is watching out for him from afar.

The feather was the only thing he had to connect him to his older brother, it had shown up on his pillow one morning, it woke him up by brushing over his nose. This red feather was his most prized possession, if he lost it, he’s not sure what he’d do if he lost it.
See, they weren’t allowed to be together, he was a half-brother, and with a weak healing quirk at that. Kei became Hawks, Izuku stayed Izuku, and they hadn’t acknowledged each other’s presence for years. It wasn’t that they didn’t want to, he got gifts on his birthday, merch would show up in his room, he was even sent a debit card once. It was that they weren’t allowed to. The Commission didn’t want their most valuable asset to have contact with his past, he wasn’t Takami Keigo anymore, he was the hero Hawks.

Lance can’t hold back anymore. Quick as a dart he reaches out, fisting Keith’s collar, and yanks him over the gearshift, kissing him softly and soundly until Keith sighs, surprise fading into something calmer, relaxed. His hand comes up to cup Lance’s cheek.
“You need a Xanax,” Lance says gently as he pulls away.
