Summary
A look into Jon's and Angel"s feelings for eachother during and after Canon.
"I really meant it y'know, the apology" starts Angel as Jon turns his head.
"I am so fucking sorry for what I said, I was so scared and I lashed out."
Jon's face breaks out into a small reassuring smile as he sits to answer.
"I know"
" I know you know, you little shit," Jon smiles at this and Angel continues "I just hate what I said and I really want you to know that I really fucking love you,"
Angel feels a burning sensation in his eyes as tears cascade down his face.
Unable to take it anymore, Jon pulls Angel into a crushing hug, moving his hand up and down his back in a soothing manner.
"I know," Jon repeats although his voice cracks at the last word, hinting at the emotion crackling within.
" I love you too, man - and I really fucking missed you."
"You're swearing!" Angel states in mock horror as he desperately smiles through the tears.
"It's your influence, asshole," Jon responds an equally teary smile playing on his lips and at that point Angel felt contented. This was good. This was great. This was home
