The heavy door to the council room creaks open and in comes a young man with soft brown hair dressed in simple clothes. He carried himself with humble confidence as he stepped into the room, immediately genuflecting on one knee before he so much as looked at Hyunjin.
“You may rise.” Hyunjin says. Such instructions and propriety still felt foreign on his tongue. “Kim Seungmin was it?”
“Yes, your majesty. I was told you wanted to discuss something with me.”
“That’s correct, Seungmin.” Hyunjin continues.“I’ll be direct about this.”
