Born from their desires, demigods wander the world in danger. Most of their divine family turning away responsibility for them until there is a need for heroes. But there will be half-bloods who stand up and take on control. Because they might not have much choice in plunging into the world of gods and monsters but they can take on the narrative or perspective of each battle.
At the end of the day, that is the only control given when blood forces all to be heroes or villains.
