Summary
So Peter kisses him, gentle like he always has been but a reverence shines through now, a devotion put to scripture in a soft kiss to Tom’s neck. Tom pets his hair and imagines him with a halo; with a noose. He wants to cry. And he does, he thinks, but he isn’t sure if it’s Peter or if it’s himself because Peter presses his face to Tom’s, not a kiss but simply a closeness.
“I’m sorry, Tom.”
“You have nothing to be sorry for.”
Peter takes his shirt off and Tom has lost his tan, living in Venice with Peter—Dickie and Mongi and San Remo have lost their grip on him. Except for Meredith, damned Meredith—but Peter kisses Tom like he can tell that his mind is racing, soft and slow on his pectoral and his stomach.
“I wasn't lying, by the way.” Peter says quietly against Tom’s chest, his beating heart.
Tom laughs. “About what?”
Peter looks down at him, a small smile on his face. “You are beautiful.”
(or: peter is lovely and fate is inescapable, tom guesses. study of their characters & relationship in the film and also some sweet gay sex to fill the void before things go sour)

Summary
It is a deep feeling; a guttural one. It feels to Chase like praying: he hates it, sort of, but who will he be without it? He needs it; it needs him. He gets on his knees and closes his eyes. Hello, O Desired One. If I tell You I need You, will You treat me like You need me?
(or: it is like house has made them new people, (but chase has always been devotional).)

Summary
And House doesn't understand, he really doesn't, how even when Wilson calls him baby and licks a stripe from his collarbone to his mouth; even when sometimes House is falling asleep and he can feel those stupid doe eyes tracing relaxed lines, Wilson still doesn't want this. How can he perform an action so full of love (because it isn't just sex like House is used to, this is the famed Making Love, or at least it seems to be) and wake up the next morning with sun coming in through the curtains; birds singing, and not let the love stay where it is—tucked safe inside his ribs but with House's desperate fingers clenching tight to bloody flesh.
House isn't necessarily upset by this, no. He's just—he feels uneasy, he supposes is the word. It’s a puzzle that, for the first time probably ever, he can’t figure out.
(or: they are closer than ever but it is confined to the night, and house doesn't know how to deal with that.)

Summary
When Sam gets up to put his mug in the sink, the fleeting (grounding?) touch of his fingers on Bucky’s waist leaves his skin tingling. He’s started casually touching Bucky—little brushes and smoothing a tangle out of his hair (which is long again); pads of fingers brushing hips when he needs to get around him. Bucky tries to get himself to do it back; show he’s comfortable, but no matter how much he wants to, making himself do it seems out of his grasp. And so they do this every day, this little skirting play, and Bucky finds himself yearning for more and more every time he even sees Sam.
Because it's not just the touches, it's everything. How he looks when he wakes up in the morning, hair shaved too short to look disheveled but with his shorts rumpled, sleepy look on his face; the apologetic smile when A.J. and Cass run around the couch where Bucky still sleeps. It's all little meaningless things, really, that make Bucky fall in love.
(or: the christmas spirit and fleeting touches are pretty hard to resist, especially when you're in love)

Summary
Cameron does not want to go to a Halloween party. He wants to continue his and Ferris's tradition of buying a shit ton of candy and watching horror movies until they pass out curled up in each other, limbs intertwined and minds muddled enough with tiredness that they don't think about waking up with shirts off and jeans down to their ankles. Ferris, however, does want to go to a Halloween party, because it's Sloane's and he doesn't want to leave his girlfriend hanging—he tells Cam that the tradition doesn't matter that much, really, and they can just do it after Halloween—the candy is cheaper, then, anyways. Cameron pretends that doesn't sting.
(or: halloween parties and kissing in the bathrooms of them always tends to yield interesting results!!)
