After the timeline was reset, Valerie was declared missing, ectoplasm exposure had more consequences than they thought, and the anti-ghost policies allowed for security systems and invisible ghost shields to pop up all over Amity Park. Danny has to adjust to dodging ectoplasm sensors, the GIW's crusade to capture all ghosts, and sleepless nights.
