Summary
At the mention of food, Natsu finally springs up, yanking the headband off his forehead and letting his hair fall gently over it, a move that makes blush creep on Lucy’s cheeks. She blushes so easily in his presence these days it's almost shameful, she should really get a grip, she thinks. But then the boy says something that has her newfound weak resolve fly out of the window, her skin getting even redder.
«You’re the best Lucy, amazing!» he exclaims, gently yanking the lunchbox out of her hands, their fingers brushing «What would I do without you, really» he wonders, opening the box and sniffing the nice scent of still warm food.
Lucy can only do so much as to let out a little breathless, incredulous laugh, trying to not combust there and then. Sometimes she wonders if he does it on purpose, if he knows the effect he has on her.
