Summary
There's one rule the vampires in high society will always abide to: they must have a human servant by their side. Or, in Ritsu's unvoiced opinion, a human sacrifice. Serving as blood suppliers and protectors against hunters, Ritsu has seen what fate awaits those mortals.
When Ritsu is assigned his own servant, he doesn't know what to make of him. He's a knight—as it would be expected of the prince's servant—but other than his steel resolve, there's not much else that makes Izumi Sena fit for his role. Stubborn and obstinate, with a sharp tongue and unwillingness to follow someone else's pace.
If nothing else, figuring out his knight's motivations should keep Ritsu's boredom at bay for another month.

Summary
Going by the little bit Tsukasa saw of him, Izumi Sena was capricious, demanding, and moody. But that was just the beginning of his problems. Apparently, he had such a strong hatred for vampires, he carried around a weapon made to kill them with efficiency, despite not being a hunter himself.
He furtively watched Leo, who met his gaze head on. There was still a haunted edge to him that he was trying to hide behind a smile. Izumi and Leo… had some kind of past together, meaning they knew each other from before Leo was imprisoned.
This was an utter mess.
