Summary
Q went rogue. Captured and imprisoned several agents. Then he disappeared. That would have been the end of it until Bond sought his assistance when two of those agents were killed.

“We don’t have much to go on,” Bond repeated. He held up a USB drive. “Thought you might be able to see something the rest of us didn’t.”“I left for a reason,” said Q.
“I know,” said Bond. “I’m sorry. It’s just the once…”
“It won’t be,” said Q. “Let’s not pretend otherwise.”
Bond nodded glumly.
“I’ll see what I can do,” said Q. He held out his hand for the USB drive. “I need tea and breakfast, and I know you can cook.”
“Yes sir,” said Bond.
“The cats will want to be fed once you enter the kitchen. One scoop from the big tin next to their bowls for each of them and fresh water. They’ll adore you from now on.”
“Excellent,” said Bond. He handed over the USB drive but didn’t get up.
“Go away Bond,” said Q. “I’m not getting out of bed until I can do so without giving you an eyeful.”
