Distantly, a strain of sun-muffled laughter met his ears. Hoseok smiled, eyes still closed and fingers curling into the ground beneath him. The laughter quietened, smothered into a palm or a sleeve, and Hoseok began to lift his head in protest before a weight dropped carefully down next to him. He opened his eyes, and Yoongi smiled, sleep-soft and lovely, back at him.
