It sounds like a statement, an observation, but Emma knows Regina better than anyone and knows when Regina’s telling her what will happen. There are many reasons she ought to drive it alone, many reasons that start and end with the woman in front of her. This is a terrible idea, she knows; this is the opposite of what Emma had in mind when she thought about this drive. Yet her mouth betrays her intentions when she utters a small, “Alright. But I’m driving.”
