They’d smelled almost spicy, looked so colorful, assaulting his senses in his half-awake state. He’s figured they had to be poisonous.”

It's been two months since the crash. The crew is beginning to lose hope, but it's somehow brought them together more than split them apart. There's an argument here or there, but they've grown quite used to each other. Comfortable. Right people at the wrong time.
However, there's been a new development. Anya has grown more sick as the days pass. She claims its nausea; that she'd been looking at the screen for too long and got dizzy, or she can't bear the sound Curly makes when she gives him his meds. It's one excuse after the other.
Jimmy and Swansea found it annoying. She's a nurse—she can't just buck up and deal? Daisuke, however, didn't mind at all. In fact, he was happy to help Anya. He'd grown up with women, his mom, and aunts always being big influences in his life. He knew what went on and didn't bother to argue.Anya and Daisuke had been taking turns caring for Curly now. He was just happy to do anything but sit around the kitchen since Swansea wouldn't let him actually help.
The peace had been kept for over two months now. Here came Jimmy to ruin that.

Summary
Even before the crash two weeks ago, Anya would still often drag through the day, Pony Express’ weak coffee the only thing keeping her awake enough to function. Her iron deficiency and the employee 5-hour sleep policy were mainly to thank for that.
But ever since the crash, she’d noticed another kind of fatigue. A deeper fatigue. A kind of exhaustion that seeped into her bones, slowed her movements, and wormed its way into her mind, asking, “is this even worth it anymore?”
Or: A fix-it fic very loosely based around Mouthwashing’s “The Good Ending” achievement, with quite a few tweaks to make for a more interesting story. :)
Or: Anya moves the bottle of isopropyl alcohol from the hall cabinet to the medbay. This changes more than you’d expect.
