You know, I've always found it just so... sad, that throughout a millennia of life, Loki never found true friends to love of their own.
When Loki tells Odinn to 'Swing the axe for mercy's sake', I wonder how much of that is venom and defiance, and how much of that is some form of resigned self-destruction and twisted repentance. To live that long in virtual isolation-- it is an unfortunate expectation that they did the things they did.
It's nice to see Iðunn and Loki being besties, by the way. Usually they are portrayed as adversaries.
