Rec - Really powerful fic. I am such a big fan of postwar traumatized Draco. This fic delivers! Draco and Gregory Goyle are doing dishes in some European restaurant. They were expelled from their country. Draco's depression, how he goes through different stages of grief and processing. This fic will crush your heart and make you feel for him. It's got great writing, great characterizations and great character dynamics. One of my favorite Draco fics of all time! Super happy I finally get to rec it!!!
If he held any yearning for the old life and the old people, if he hankered after what had been basely torn from him, he never said a word. He was just there, in the same way that mortar was just there.
