   Summary

   The Inquisition is charged with hunting down the Alien, the Mutant and the Heretic. Inquisitors are the Imperium's finest, and their mandate grants them near unlimited authority. But no Inquisitor stands alone. Each is accompanied by acolytes, diverse followers united only in their loyalty to their master. For some Inquisitors, their acolytes are a small team of select companions whilst others maintain thousands of followers with private armies and warships.

   Primaris Psyker Amelia Lafayette is one such acolyte, bound in service to the Inquisition. Inexperienced, and browbeaten by her training, she must learn to adapt to her situation, or be forever damned.
