Summary
There's not much to do on the farm, aside from taking care of the animals; that was the point when the Garrett-McClains were trying for a baby. When they turn down several New Years party invites and spend a quiet night at home with their dogs, they are bitten by reality how soon their lives will change.

"This sucks," Lance complained, his hands on either side of his tummy, his left rubbing slightly. "Whose bright idea was this?" He used his right hand to gesture at his stomach, as if to make a point.
"Uh, that was you, dude." Hunk chuckled with a raised eyebrow. He brought his hand to lay on top of Lance's, playing with his husband's golden ring. "I was just an enabler." He leaned up to kiss the corner of his mouth.
"Yes, you are terrible people and you should feel ashamed," Lance replied, his smile bright as Hunk's lips met his face.
