   Summary

   Regina had stood on the town line and held her hand. Had pressed with aching tenderness on her pulse and promised Emma new memories and a good life.

   So why was she waking up in her bed in Storybrooke with neither? Instead, all she has is a missing year, a distraught son, a town ready to tear itself apart, an empty mansion on Mifflin Street with a mysterious green barrier, and...And a grainy picture from a poorly scanned page from an equestrian magazine. A picture of a woman living halfway across the country who has a familiar face, a life free of strife, and, buried somewhere in her lost memories, all the answers.
