It's the end of the 2nd semester, and Essempi high has a really big project/event/whatever. In all classes all students must pick a partner. That partner is going to be their new best friend. Every duo will be together about 24/7, every project, every class.
The duos there are:
Dream & george(good friends -> best friends -> tentative boyfriends?)
Sapnap, karl & quackity (sapnap and karl wanted to be together and quackity decided he's with them. The teacher let them be together because there was an odd number of students in the class anyway)
Ranboo & tubbo(tubbo decides that if they're going to be together for the rest of the year they should make it official, so they get some online priest on a shady website and have a marriage ceremony in his living room. From then on tubbo starts calling ranboo "husband"/"my beloved")
Tommy & clementine (they made a deal. Tommy can hang out with ranboo and tubbo instead of clem half the time if he commits to their work together)
Wilbur & niki
Jack manifold & sally
(Those two duos always end up together somehow. "Somehow". Wilbur made niki say she wants to hang out with Jack manifold so he can get to know the cute girl from Jack's class. Niki doesn't mind, she and jack have a really fun time together(I originally put jack as puffy but... rocketduo))
Bbh & antfrost
Skeppy & puffy
(These two duos also tend to get together quite a lot- Puffy is the reason for that most of the time. Then, when skeppy and bad work together, she goes to niki/Gossip with ant. Sometimes they do hang out all four of them though)
Sam & ponk
Eret & foolish
Punz & purpled
Fundy & connor?(I'm really trying here I ran out of characters cut me some slack)
Technoblade wrote a 10(? Idk how long essays are) page essay about why this thing is inherently bad and especially for him and teacher just decided to let him off it.
