Chapter Text

Y/n panted as he walked down the sidewalk, getting a few odd stares from the animals he passed. "Jeez, I must look like I'm melting" y/n vented as he brushed back some of his wool. He sighed in content as he entered a convenient store, the cool air washing over this body. "Are you alright buddy?" He heard a voice speak. "Yeah I'm good, just catching my breath" y/n wheezed as he leaned against a wall. "You should get something to drink" The golden retriever advised. Y/n chuckled, smiling at the shorter animal. "Do I look like I have money". The dog's eyes widened hearing that "Let me buy you something!" He spoke excitedly. "You don't have to do that" y/n tried to reject politely. The bright dog shook his head, nudging the alpaca towards a selection of drinks. "Pick whatever you want, I'll get it for you!". Y/n tensed, unused to this kind hospitality. It was something you definitely wouldn't see back home. "Alright.." y/n gave in, picking up a water bottle. After purchasing the item the two walked out together, stopping at the sidewalk. "So.. where you headed stranger?" The dog asked with a smile. "Cherryton.. I'm sure you've heard of it" y/n chuckled nervously. The dog lit up, bouncing slightly as he spoke "No way, I go there! Are you enrolling?" He asked excitedly. "Y-yes.. or I hope so.. I really hope this trip wasn't for nothing" Y/n said while fidgeting with his fingers. The dog's smile shrunk ever so slightly before he said "Can I ask your name?". "Y/n.. what's yours?" The alpaca replied. "Jack, it's nice to meet you! Sorry if I seem so straight forward. It feels like I know you from somewhere!" Jack said with a chuckle. "I'm no celebrity, I'm not sure" y/n muttered slightly. "Well y/n, if you'd like. You can tag along with me, I was about to head back to the school anyway!" The dog offered. "That would be great" y/n accepted. The two walked down the sidewalk together, y/n taking in the city's sights. Jack seemed to notice this, smiling more as y/n stopped to examine a tower. "Have you ever been here before?" Jack asked while nudging y/n to get his attention. "Never.. back home it's mostly open plains, no buildings like these" y/n explained, tucking his hands into his pockets. "How did you get here? Did someone drop you off?" The dog asked suddenly. Y/n swallowed before responding "No.. I kinda.. walked, I got a few rides from nice people though". Jack gasped before saying "You must be exhausted!". Y/n chuckled, nodding his head slowly. "It's been a while since I've had proper sleep". Jack suddenly started to speed walk and y/n rushed to match his pace. "W-where are you going?" Y/n spoke. "We gotta get you enrolled, then after that you can crash in your dorm!" Jack explained.

The two arrived at the entrance to the school, watching as all different kinds of animals entered and exited the premises. "It's really big," y/n said in awe. "You bet! This school has pretty much anything you can imagine" Jack said proudly. Walking side by side the two strolled into the main building where a few other animals were waiting to speak with a receptionist who was currently chewing out some students. Great. At some point it ended and the weasel scurried off so y/n and Jack could speak to the woman. "Good afternoon, what can I do for you boys?" She spoke with a bored expression. "I um.. wanna enroll here, I think that I have the grades for it and have all the information required" y/n explained as he held up a file. She squinted at the Alpaca who stared back nervously as he handed the woman the papers. "I'll have to have Gon look over these, then we'll see about enrollment" she said before tucking them into a drawer. "How long is that going to take?" Y/n said with a sigh. "Two to three business days" she said while brushing her hair back.

"Well I guess I'm sleeping under a bridge tonight" y/n said while kicking his legs, looking down into the clear fountain water at his reflection that stared back at him.. There were a few different coins that shimmered back at him, he wondered if any of them were his. "I'm out of money at the moment, so you're just going to have to stay in my dorm" Jack said while rubbing his chin. "Why are you helping me?" Y/n said while crossing his arms. "B-because you remind me of him".
"Tem died not so long ago, it's really changed things around here. It feels like carnivores and herbivores are more segregated than they've ever been" Jack explained with a pained expresison. "Jack.. if I tell you something, will you promise not to tell anyone?" Y/n asked seriously. The dog perked up, nodding his head vigorously. "Tem is my brother, that's why I came here" y/n said seriously. The dog's eyes widened in realization. "Holy crap! That explains a lot.. so wait" Jack said while looking thoughtfully. "You ran away from home to enroll here didn't you?" The dog was accused. "N-no.. you're crazy" y/n said while shaking his head. "You say you walked here, you have no money. No plan for a place to stay. Everything points to that being the case" Jack said while crossing his arms. Y/n chuckled and wrapped his arm around the golden retriever's neck. "You caught me, yeah. I ran away from home" y/n admitted. "Your parents must be worried sick," Jack chastised. "They'll be fine, I need to get away from them for a while" y/n replied, brushing off his worries. The dog nodded slowly before grabbing his friend's hand, yanking him to his feet. "Y-you're serious? You want me to stay in your dorm?" Y/n said nervously. "I'm very serious, I can't let Tem's brother sleep outside" Jack chuckled as he led the alpaca to the male dorms. The two cautiously walked down the hallway towards what y/n assumed would be the canines dorm. "A-aren't there gonna be other canines in there?" Y/n stammered, stopping in his tracks. "Shh.. yes, but trust me. They won't rat us out" Jack spoke softly. "Yeah but.. I'm not good at meeting new people" y/n said with flushed cheeks. "They're canines, you'll be fine!" Jack giggled as they arrived at the door.

As Jack pushed the door open they were immediately greeted with booming voices. "Jack, you're home!". "What took so long?!" "Did you bring the snacks?!". Y/n watched as the multiple dogs prepared to tackle Jack to the ground when they froze in their tracks seeing the Alpaca standing in the doorway. "Uhh.. there's a herbivore at the door?" The giant white dog said. "Is he an intruder?" The hyena said with a gasp. "N-no guys, this is y/n. He's gonna be going to our school soon but he needs a place to stay" Jack explained. "Say no more! Come on buddy!" The coyote said while motioning for the alpaca to do so. Y/n walked into the room, smiling softly as the canines crowded around him to introduce themselves. Maybe this was a bad idea. "Wow there are a lot of you guys" y/n chuckled nervously suddenly becoming aware that he was in a room full of carnivores. "This isn't even all of us yet, Legosi should be home soon!" Collot said with a smile. "So where's he gonna sleep?" Voss asked while crossing his arms. Jack chuckled nervously "I hadn't really thought about it". "I don't mind sleeping on the floor, it's better than sleeping outside" y/n chuckled. "No way bro, you're our guest. You can sleep on my bed with me" Durham said. "T-that's okay, I don't think guests are supposed to do that" y/n flushed. "No, y/n is sleeping on the floor. You guys bite too much in your sleep" Jack said while crossing his arms. The dog's all sighed but nodded in agreement. Y/n dropped his bag as he took a seat on the blankets and pillows he was provided. "Oh man.. I'm beat" y/n said with yawn. "You can crash man, none of us will bother you" Durham said while picking up a controller. "I'll guard you, don't worry!" Collot said while taking a seat beside the coyote so the two could continue their game. "It's good to see you guys got along so quickly, I hope Legosi can do the same" Jack said with a hint of worry "What's this Legosi guy like?" Y/n asked. All of the dogs jumped as they tried to throw out their own descriptions of the wolf. "He's super weird, but we love him anyway!". "Legosi is my bro". "Takes getting used to". Y/n chuckled and nodded slowly "If he's like you guys then I'm sure he'll be great". An hour or so passed without any sign of Legosi, y/n had already fallen asleep on the floor. Snoring lightly while occasionally flicking his ear. "I dare you to touch his wool jack" Durham spoke softly. The golden retriever flushed, shaking his head slowly. "No, I don't want to wake him. He's had a long day". Miguno leaned over the Alpaca, snapping his fingers a few times in front of the snoring animal. Nothing. "Seems out cold to me" The hyena spoke softly. Jack sighed before kneeling down beside y/n who had half his face buried in a pillow. "Just a quick touch couldn't hurt.." Jack spoke before dragging his fingers though y/n's pure white wool that curled around his fingers. "How is it?" Collot asked while tilting his head. "Really soft.." Jack admitted. "Aren't herbivores great?" Durham said with a chuckle. "Am I the only one who thinks this guy looks crazy familiar?" Voss said while squinting at the alpaca. "How did you two meet?" Miguno asked while crossing his arms. "O-oh well.. we met in the city and he just happened to be enrolling here" Jack explained. The door suddenly creaked open and all the canine's in the room whipped their heads around to Legosi who stared back at them as he closed the door. "Hey guys" he greeted simply before moving over towards his bed, still not noticing the Alpaca currently snoozing a few feet away. "Where have you been buddy? It's super late" Jack said while crossing his arms. "Oh.. I felt like taking a walk" Legosi explained as he took a seat on the edge of his bed. The wolf suddenly lifted his head, sniffing the air "D-did one of you guys hang out with herbivores today?" He asked as the overwhelming scent of blood filled his nostrils. "W-well no.." Jack said while fidgeting with his fingers. The wolf eyes widened as he took notice of the figure on the floor as he flipped onto his back, his snoring becoming more audible. "Who's that?" The wolf asked with an ear twitch. "His name's y/n, I offered to let him stay here tonight" Jack explained. "That's really dangerous.. he should be careful" Legosi said while examining the Alpaca with a squint. "He.. looks like Tem.. they smell similar too" Legosi said suddenly. "W-well they're both Alpacas! What can you expect!" Jack chuckled nervously. Legosi slowly nodded before kicking off his shoes and sliding into bed. "I guess you two can meet to tomorrow" Jack spoke softly. The canines stayed awake for a few more hours before deciding to turn in for the night.

4 am

Y/n shifted around uncomfortably as he felt his body suddenly starting to get hot, to the point it was starting to stir him awake. The Alpaca yawned softly before trying to lift himself up to look around, only to be stopped by a heavy pressure against his torso. "What.." y/n's voice croaked. He froze as he felt a sudden breath of warm air against his wool. A moment later then a sniff. The Alpaca couldn't move, too frozen in fear to face the canine in bed with him. Why did I think this was a good idea. Y/n gathered all the courage he could to slowly turn his body over to face the animal sleeping beside him. Before he could identify the animal his face was suddenly buried in chest fur, brushing against his face. It was a whitish color, from that y/n had assumed it was Collot but this fur was way shorter. "L-legosi.." y/n spoke softly. The wolf stirred a bit before inhaling the herbivores scent deeper. "P-please don't eat me.. I still have to find out who killed Tem" y/n whimpered slightly. The wolves eyes opened half lidded at first, gazing over the Alpaca who stared back in fear. Y/n tensed as he felt the wolves claws between them, brushing over the wool that covered his stomach. "S-stop!" Y/n yelped causing the wolf to jolt awake. Luckily for Legosi none of the other canines awoke to see the odd scene in front of them. The second that Legosi released y/n from his hold the Alpaca jumped up, bolting for the door after grabbing his bag. "H-hey wait!" The wolf tried to reach out for the herbivore before he left the room to no avail.

Y/n only stopped running when he reached the fountain at the center of Cherryton, the water was still flowing calming the Alpacas nerves enough to catch a breather. "T-that was terrifying.." y/n panted to himself. "What was terrifying? Do you need help?" A female voice spoke softly. Y/n's ears perked up as he turned to the bunny standing a few feet away from him. "I-i guess not.. I just need to calm down" y/n said while making some space between them. "I like coming here to calm down too," she said with a warm smile. The pure white animal moved slowly over to the fountain, taking a seat beside the frightened Alpaca. "I don't think I've seen you around here before, what's your name?" She asked carefully. "Y-y/n, what's yours?". "Haru" she replied sweetly. Y/n smiled at the girl repeating "Haru.. it's nice to meet you". "Likewise, did you just enroll here?" She asked, noticing he had no uniform. Y/n slowly nodded. "Sort of.. I'm still waiting to hear back about that" The Alpaca chuckled nervously. "I see.. well I hope you manage to get in" she said with a smile before turning back to the water. The two were silent for a moment, peacefully listening to the sound of rushing water behind them. "This was nice but I should get going, you should too. It's dangerous for herbivores to be out this late" Haru advised. "I-in a bit, I'm just gonna stay a little longer. Goodnight Haru" y/n said with a smile. "Goodnight y/n" she said with a wave before walking off. As her steps slowly faded into the distance y/n was left by himself once more, luckily much calmer than he previously was. "I better go find a place to stay.." y/n muttered before standing up, shivering as a cold breeze blew by. "Y/n.. please come back, I didn't mean to scare you" the deep voice spoke suddenly from behind him. Y/n whipped around to see the giant carnivore staring down at him with a begging look. "Y-you!" Y/n yelped, stumbling back onto his back. "A-are you okay?! I promise that I won't hurt you.." Legosi spoke softly, reaching down towards the Alpaca with his claws. "Get away from me!" Y/n shouted. Legosi's ears flattened as he responded "Okay.." then stepping a few feet back. Y/n took a long moment to calm down before saying "I'm sorry.. I've just never been so close to a carnivore before" The Alpaca admitted. Legosi shook his head "i-it's not your fault! I should have better self control as a carnivore". "D-do you always do things like that?" Y/n asked while crossing his arms. "N-no! It's just.. you smell.. good?" the wolf said with nervous smile. Y/n squinted at Legosi before chuckling slightly. "You're not what I was expecting" y/n said. Legosi tilted his head, flicking one of his ears. "I get that sometimes.." the wolf spoke softly. Y/n suddenly yawned loudly, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "Please come back.. Jack will be upset with me if you don't" Legosi begged. Y/n sighed before saying "Okay..". The two walked back to the male dorms, the Alpaca making sure to keep at least a few few between them as they did. "Uh.. so.. what made you wanna come here?" Legosi asked while rubbing his arm. "To further my education I guess.." y/n replied while anxiously pulling on his wool. "Is that really it?" The wolf asked while tilting his head. "What else would it be?" Y/n said while crossing his arms. "Oh um.. nothing.." Legosi muttered. The two were quiet for a moment while they walked, listening carefully for the housemother. "Your wool is soft.." Legosi stated simply. Y/n furrowed his eyebrows a bit hearing those words. this wolf is weird. "thanks Legosi.. your fur is pretty soft too" y/n replied nervously. The wolf seemed to light of a bit, half smiling at the Alpaca. "T-thanks.." The two cautiously entered the dorm to see all of the other canines still asleep in their same spots. "Goodnight.." Legosi said before crawling back into bed, this time moving so far onto the bed that his back pressed against the wall. Y/n crawled back into his makeshift bed, laying his with back facing Legosi. "G-goodnight" y/n replied before covering himself with a blanket and drifting off into some much needed sleep.

~the next day~

Rubbed his eyes as he lifted his head off his pillow, looking around the room he was in. All of the canines had disappeared from their spots, leaving the room in complete silence besides the ac above them. "Where'd everybody go?" Y/n said while rubbing his eyes. The curtains that covered Legosi's bed from view suddenly were yanked open revealing the large wolf with his knees pressed against his chest. "They're in class.." he spoke softly. Y/n jumped a bit, before giving the wolf a glare. "Aren't you supposed to be in class too?". Legosi was quiet for a moment before he half smiled at the Alpaca. "Probably.. but they wanted someone to watch you". Y/n nodded slowly "that makes sense, we did just meet yesterday". Legosi's eyes widened a bit as he said "Oh.. well you don't seem like a bad animal".
"I like to think I'm not but.. I've made a lot of mistakes recently" y/n spoke softly. Legosi nodded attentively, saying "Me too, like last night". "Oh yeah.." y/n muttered. "Did you.. hate it?" Legosi asked carefully. The question had to register in the Alpaca's head for a moment, coming out as "uhhh.."

"Nevermind.." Legosi muttered. Maybe it was just y/n but he was starting to feel cramped in this dorm, he needed some fresh air. "Can we um.. leave?" Y/n asked. "I.. think so, we just have to be careful". Y/n chuckled and shook his head "That might be a little hard since you're so tall". The wolf huffed a bit before muttering "I know.." Y/n suddenly moved over to his bag, digging around for a clean shirt. Legosi watched the Alpaca move, enjoying the subtle beauty that the herbivore had. This was only amplified as y/n stood up, pulling his shirt off over his head. It was overwhelming for the wolf seeing a herbivore shirtless, the wool that covered his body so bare and stunning in the morning light. "Fuck.." Legosi spoke without realizing. "What?" Y/n said while turning to the flushed wolf. "N-nothing.. let's get going"

Chapter Text

Y/n and Legosi successfully managed to sneak past the housemother while she was distracted with paperwork, the two rushing out the door. There were few students scattered around outside but only one teacher on patrol who was currently dozing off against a wall. "Where to?" Y/n said while glancing up at the wolf. "U-um.. I guess we could go to the drama club, no one should be in the studio right now". Y/n nodded with the idea "Right". "So you're in the drama club huh? Are you the lead actor?" Y/n asked with a smirk. The wolf shook his head "of course not..". "What do you do then?". Legosi smiled sheepishly as he said "Mostly lighting, sometimes I help out in other departments". Y/n nodded and smiled at the wolf, saying "If you enjoy it, then I'm happy for you".

The two animals arrived at the entrance to the drama club, y/n stood back watching as Legosi pulled a key out from behind one of the posters. Unlocking the door, it was pitch black besides the silhouette of props. "The light switch is inside" Legosi muttered as he walked into the darkness. "Hey, don't leave me" y/n said while looking back to see if anyone had seen them yet. The Alpaca huffed before cautiously walking inside and shutting the door behind him. A few moments later the lights flickered on and y/n sighed in relief. "I brought some snacks.. do you want one?" Legosi said as he took a seat in the middle of the room. For a moment the Alpaca stood, unsure what to do but eventually moved to sit across from the wolf. "Why not" y/n said with a soft smile. Legosi promptly handed him a bag of chips and water with a sharp smile. "T-thank you" y/n said while accepting them graciously. The two ate their food in comfortable silence, occasionally listening as teachers and students passed by. "Y/n" Legosi spoke suddenly. "What's up?" Y/n replied while taking a sip of water. "I wanna know more about you". The Alpaca shifted his gaze away from the wolf, focusing on anything else in the room. "Like what?". Legosi looked up thoughtfully before saying "What are you interested in?". "Well.. it sounds kinda stupid" y/n said with a bit of flush. "It isn't stupid if you enjoy it". Y/n smiled and nodded. "I grew up on a farm so I've always been interested in botany, anything with plants really". Legosi nodded slowly, taking in the information. "That's interesting..".

"What are you interested in, besides lights?" Y/n asked with a smirk. "I like bugs.. any bugs" Legosi spoke softly. "Any bugs? Even spiders?". The wolf nodded with a wide smile. "Spiders are great, look I have a book about them". Legosi dug around in his bag pulling out a book that looked so small in his hands. "Look.. see, don't they look cool?" The wolf said giddily. Y/n hadn't even realized he had moved closer, pressing against the wolf's side to get a better look at the small pictures. "Yeah, they are pretty cool" y/n chuckled before poking the wolf's nose. "You're pretty cool too".
Legosi's ear flattered slightly as he focused on the point of contact. "Not as cool as spiders.." Legosi said softly. The two were silent for a moment, y/n focusing on reading the small words in the book. The Alpaca tensed as he felt a sudden pressure against his arm then quickly retracted. "Did you just poke me?" Y/n said with a giggle. "Only because you did it first.." Legosi said with a crooked smile. "I think you just wanted another excuse to touch my wool" y/n teased. The wolf flushed a bit, turning his attention towards the lights behind y/n. "N-no..".

Suddenly the doors swung open and soft footsteps filled the room.
"Who's in here? You don't have permission to be here during this hour" a voice spoke. "Busted" y/n muttered. "L-louis-senpai" Legosi said softly. The footsteps slowly inched their way closer to their positions until they were greeted with those fierce eyes that y/n would never forget again. The red deer glared at with his hands on hips, first examining the wolf then the Alpaca sitting beside him. "Legosi.. I expected so much better from you, leading this poor creature astray. What exactly were you planning to do?" Louis said while crossing his arms. "W-what no! we were just.. skipping class!" Legosi stammered. "Um.. yeah" y/n confirmed. The deer turned his attention to the Alpaca, squinting at y/n intensely. "Have we met somewhere before?" Louis said while rubbing his chin. "I don't think so.." y/n muttered while trying to shift his gaze away from those beautiful eyes. He remembered Tem mentioning in one of his letters that the drama club's lead actor looked perfect, this must be him. "Whatever the case, you two shouldn't be in here" Louis said while crossing his arms. "P-please Louis! Just until lunch period!" Legosi begged. The deer seemed to perk up, hearing the carnivores begging voice. "Say please one more time" Louis said with a smirk. "Please.." Legosi repeated. The deer locked eyes with the Alpaca, smiling further. "You too". Y/n sighed before meeting the deer's gaze "Please Louis". The deer closed his eyes, humming softly. "I suppose you two can stay, but you'd both better keep it down while I get work done". "T-thank you senpai! We'll be completely quiet!" Legosi spoke loudly. "Good..". The red deer was about to leave but stopped to turn to y/n. "I don't think I got your name" Louis said while meeting his gaze once more. "It's y/n" He stated simply. "I hope to see you around y/n". With that Louis walked off to his office, closing and locking the door behind him. "Jeez.." y/n vented. "Y-yeah.. Louis is.. very serious" Legosi mumbled while taking a seat back in their spot. "Let's forget about him for a bit, what do you wanna do?" Y/n said while looking around. "I could show you our lighting system.. I think it's pretty interesting". Y/n shrugged and followed the wolf further into the studio "Sure".

Chapter Text

Y/n and Legosi were in the middle of playing checkers when they heard the school bell ring in the distance and moments later a flood of students heading back to their dorms. "We've been in here for a while, you'd think that Louis guy would have kicked us out by now" y/n said while moving a piece forward. "W-we should go check on him" Legosi said while quickly rising to his feet. "Didn't he say for us not to bother him?" Y/n said while tilting his head. "Y-yes but he could need our help". The Alpaca nodded slowly, considering the events that occured in Cherryton recently. "Right."

The two approached Louis's office door slowly, the blurred glass nearly impossible to see through. "Um.. you should go check on him" Legosi said while rubbing his neck. "Why me? This was your idea" y/n said while crossing his arms. "You're.. less threatening" Legosi replied with a smirk. "I'm fearsome.." y/n muttered while brushing back some of his wool. "And soft," the wolf added. "Whatever, just wait for me at the door so we can leave" y/n sighed.

Y/n pushed open the door slowly, entering into the room only lit by the sunset in the window. "L-louis.. I um..came to check on you" Y/n said softly. For a long moment the herbivore didn't see the other until his eyes landed on the desk in front of him. The cervid was asleep with his head resting against the desk, pen still in hand. "Oh.." y/n uttered to himself. The Alpaca slowly moved forwards, gently tapping the deer over the shoulder. "Louis.. it's time to wake up sleepyhead". Louis shifted around a bit but didn't budge, he must be really exhausted. "Okay.." y/n looked around the desk, his eyes landing on a small cup of water. The Alpaca held the drink, gently dripping some of the cool liquid over the deer's head. That was enough to get him to lift his head, staring back at the other herbivore groggily as water dripped onto the desk. "W-what are you still doing here?!" Louis snapped, seemingly too tired to notice the water dripping down onto the floor. The Alpaca tried to hold back a few snickers as the slightly shorter deer got closer. "The school day is over, just thought you should know" y/n said with a soft smile. The deer's eyes widened "how long have I been asleep for?!". "Pretty much the entire day, it seems like you needed it" the alpaca replied. "Damn it.. I still have some much work to prepare for Adler" the deer vented. "What's Alder?" Y/n asked while tilting his head. "You seriously don't know? Have you been living under a rock" Louis said while crossing his arms. "In a sense" The alpaca chuckled. "Alder is the best play we do every year, and I am the star. You should do yourself a favor and attend a show, it might help enlighten you a bit". Y/n smiled at the deer, his ear twitching a bit. "You're lucky that you're so handsome because your ego is bigger than any play you'll ever be in". Louis's eyes widened a bit and he scowled at the herbivore. "I am simply stating the truth, it will be a show to be remembered". "I'm sure it will" y/n said before turning to leave. He was stopped by the deer speaking suddenly. "You're just going to call me handsome and leave?". Y/n felt a little flush in his cheeks but drowned out the feeling. "Yeah, my friend is waiting for me outside" y/n said with a smirk. "He's a dog, I'm sure he doesn't mind waiting". "Have a good night Louis" y/n said before shutting the door, leaving the deer by himself.

Exiting the drama club there were still a lot of students wandering around with a half hour before curfew. "Are you ready to head back to the dorm?" Legosi asked while turning to the Alpaca. "Yeah, it was nice getting to hang out with you" y/n said with a smile. "Yeah.. it was, I hope we can do it again some time" the wolf said while returning the expression. With that the two started on their way back to the male dorms, walking side by side.

Legosi pushed open the doors to the dorm and the two quickly walked inside, closing the door behind them. "There you two are!" Jack said. "Hey" Legosi greeted. "What's up guys?" Y/n greeted next. "Hey man" Collot greeted back. "My guys you're home" Durham said while sitting up from his bed. "Where have you guys been?" Jack asked while crossing his arms. "We were at the drama club," Legosi replied simply. "Don't you think that was a little risky?". "It's risky for me to be here at all" y/n chuckled while taking a seat in his sleeping area. "That's.. a good point" Jack sighed. "How long did you say it would be until you're like.. an official student" Miguno asked. "It should only be a day but I think I'm going to go find headmaster Gon" y/n replied. "He's probably in his office," Collot said while eating a chip. "Y-yeah but maybe I can get a meeting or something". Jack smiled, saying "I'll go with you! I don't have anything big to do tomorrow". "T-thanks Jack, you're the best" y/n chuckled. "Aw man, doesn't that mean that y/n is gonna have to move into a herbivore dorm" Durham groaned. "It's probably for the best," Legosi said under his breath. "Yeah, but I'll still talk to you guys!" Y/n said with a smile. "Even though we're carnivores?" Voss asked. "Of course," y/n replied happily.

"Y/n, today's the day!" Jack announced loudly into his ear, just as he was starting to become aware of his surroundings. "What's today?" Y/n asked groggily. "The day you'll become an official student of Cherryton duh!". The other canines in the room perked up hearing this news. "Awe man, I was just getting used to having him here" Durham said while sitting up in his bed. Legosi slowly pulled his curtains to drag himself out of bed but only managing to get half his body dangling off. "Good morning Legosi" y/n greeted with a giggle. His ears perked up at the sound of Y/n's voice, his tail also brushing against the floor. "Good morning" he greeted back groggily. "Looks like this is our last day as roommates" The Alpaca said while gently pushing the rest of the wolf's body off his bed causing him to fall down a short distance. "Y-yeah.. so where are you gonna stay?" Legosi asked while sitting back up quickly. "I don't know..' y/n said with a coy smile. "W-what, what do you mean you don't know?" The wolf stammered. "Are you going to miss me?" Y/n teased. The words seem to get caught in Legosi's mouth, so Durham said it for him. "Yeah! You're like our bro now!". "If you need anything you can come to us" Miguno offered. "R-right" Legosi confirmed. "Well...we should get to the office before more students show up!" Jack said while jumping to his feet. "Okay" y/n agreed, standing up and gathering his things. "C-can I come with you guys?" Legosi asked hesitantly. "Sure, but it'll just be us waiting to speak to Gon" y/n replied while pulling the door open. "I don't mind..".

The three animals sat patiently waiting for y/n's meeting with Gon, who was apparently very busy at the moment. "Have you two ever met Gon?" Y/n asked while sitting back in his seat. Legosi slowly shook his head while Jack nodded. "Once! He seemed like a pretty good guy". The Alpaca nodded, sighing in relief. "Have you thought about any clubs you want to join?" Jack asked excitedly. Legosi sat up, listening intently to y/n's answer. "N-not really.. I hear they have a gardening club though" y/n replied while looking up thoughtfully. "Y/n L/n, Gon will see you now" The receptionist said while leaning away from her phone. "Good luck," Legosi said with a half smile.

Entering Gon's office, y/n was immediately greeted by his warm voice. "You must be y/n, it's a pleasure to meet you". The Siberian tiger smiled softly as the Alpaca stepped into the room, hesitantly closing the door behind himself. "Let me start by apologizing for your loss, Tem was a wonderful student and a great animal" Gon spoke sympathetically. "I know.." y/n replied while taking a seat across from the carnivore. The headmaster chuckled nervously, shifting in his seat. "Let's cut to the chase shall we, you want to attend Cherryton correct?". Y/n gave a nod "please". "You can understand why I am hesitant to allow this right?" Gon asked while clasping his hands together. "Y-yes but.. this is something I want, I know it is" The Alpaca replied. "A-alright y/n.. if you insist then we can get started on the enrollment process..". Y/n sighed in relief, saying "T-thank you so much!". "Of course.. it's the least I could do" Gon replied before pulling open a filing cabinet and taking out a couple sheets of paper. "I'll just need you to fill these out, it won't take long..".

Legosi was sitting in his seat, looking down at his intimidating claws while he waited for his friend to return. Their hands were so different, Legosi's were rough and deadly while y/n's were soft to the touch. It made him wonder if it was ever possible for two animals so different to be together, or if y/n would ever even consider such an idea. "Are you okay?" Jack asked, noticing his blank stare. "Y-yes.. just thinking". "About what?" The golden retriever asked with a smile. The wolf's thoughts returned to y/n and his stunning wool, the way he smiled at the wolf. His eyes. Everything about him was perfect, just as he'd expect for a herbivore. "Y/n" he replied without thinking. "Oh? What about him?" Jack asked while leaning in a bit closer to Legosi. "D-do you think y/n thinks I'm weird?" The wolf asked with a crooked smile. Jack scoffed a bit "I'd hate to tell you buddy, but you are a little weird. Legosi sighed knowing that he was right, what else would you call what he did to y/n.

After a short 30 minutes y/n came out of Gon's office holding a stack of clothes in his hands while there was also a yellow sticky note stuck to his wool. "What's that?" Legosi asked. "It's my dorm room number" Y/n replied while pulling off the note. Legosi was tall enough to make out the numbers on the note while y/n held it in his hand, taking mental note. "Congrats y/n!" Jack said with a pat on the shoulder. "Thanks, it feels a lot better knowing I'm not going to get thrown out". "We would have snuck you back in," Legosi said with a smirk.

"Well.. I guess I'll see you two later, I gotta go get set up at my dorm" Y/n said as they exited the building. "Awe, see you later y/n. Make sure to come visit us!" Jack said before rushing to his next class period. Legosi stood staring at the Alpaca as he fumbled around with the stack of clothes. "Can I walk you to your dorm?" The wolf asked hopefully. Y/n looked up to meet his gaze, smiling softly. "Sure".

Y/n and Legosi stopped as they arrived at the door to his new room, the Alpaca digging into his pocket for the key he was provided. If the situation were different y/n would have the wolf stay in his dorm for a while, but that would probably upset his new roommates. "I'll be seeing you" y/n said as he was about to push the door open. "W-wait.." Legosi stammered. Y/n stopped with his hand on the knob, turning to the wolf. "What is it?". "W-will you give me your phone number?" The wolf asked, his tail wagging slowly behind him. Y/n smiled up at him, brushing back a bit of his wool. "Alright, but you'd better not hesitate to call me. I hate having to wait" The Alpaca said as he clicked a pen, writing the digits onto a piece of paper before handing it to the taller animal. "R-right, I'll call you later tonight". Y/n gave a nod "sounds good, get going". Legosi nodded before turning and walking off, his tail now moving with much more vigour than before.

Y/n pushed open the door to his dorm, walking in and shutting it behind him. The room looked neat and orderly, with a bunk on both sides of the room. They even had a couch, which was a luxury that the canines didn't have for whatever reason. "Who's that?" A deep voice called out from the bathroom. "My name's y/n, I'm going to be your new roommate" The Alpaca explained as he dropped his bag to the floor. There was the sound of rushing water, and then the sink being turned off. A moment later a brown colored Alpaca came rushing out of the restroom to greet his new roommate. "Hey y/n, welcome" He greeted me with a smile. "Thanks, um.. What's your name?" y/n said with a relieved smile. "Oh it's Matt, make yourself at home dude!" He said while flopping on the couch. Y/n nodded, moving over to the free bunk across the room. "We totally have to have a movie night, I can't wait for Emile to get back" Matt said while excitedly searching through all of the DVDs they have stacked up in a pile. "Emile is our other roommate?" Y/n asked while taking a seat on his bed, feeling much better than the floor he was sleeping on before. "Yeah! He is taking his extra classes right now" Matt explained before pushing in some horror movie and jumping on the couch. "Come watch tv with me!" Matt begged. "I don't really watch a lot of TV" y/n said while laying back on his bed. "What are you ancient? Come on! I got popcorn". Y/n sighed before kicking off his shoes and walking over to take a seat beside his roommate, focusing on the movie playing. "Man it's been so long since it wasn't just us, it's gonna be so nice having you around dude" Matt said while stuffing his mouth full. "Can I ask you something?" Y/n asked suddenly. Matt nodded his head "You can ask me anything". "Did you know Tem?" y/n asked carefully. The Alpaca hummed thoughtfully before saying "If you mean the guy who died, unfortunately no. I think Emile did though..". Y/n nodded slowly, shifting his attention back to the tv. "Did you know him? Matt asked while popping another piece of popcorn into his mouth. "Yes, we were close" y/n replied while trying harder to focus on the tv. "Oh.. I'm sorry about your friend, but.. don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you" Matt said with a reassuring smile. Y/n chuckled a bit, finding it funny that a herbivore was offering his protection. "Okay, and I won't let anything happen to you or Emile either". "Of course! We watch each other's backs!" Matt spoke proudly

A few hours passed without any signs of y/n's roommate, so he decided to turn in for the day since Matt had fallen asleep with his face buried in a bowl of cold popcorn. "It's time to go to sleep" y/n said while nudging his roommate, who slowly lifted his popcorn covered head. "Where's Emile?" He asked while brushing off the food. "I'm not sure.. no one has come yet" y/n replied while glancing at the door. A hint of worry flashed over Matt's face as he rose to his feet. "I'm gonna go look for him". Y/n watched as he fumbled to put on his coat, then rushed out the door only to slam into the grey furred animal. "Watch it Matt!" Emile yelped as he stumbled to the floor. "Oops sorry, are you okay? Where have you been?" Matt asked while easily pulling the other Alpaca to his feet. "Yes I'm okay, I was out picking up the snacks you wanted. Remember?" Emile said while crossing his arms. "Kinda... When was this?" Matt asked while scratching his head. "This morning!".
Y/n giggled a bit, catching the attention of his new roommate who stared at him with a squint. "T-tem?" Emile croaked out. Y/n froze in place, only managing to shake his head slowly. "N-no, my name is y/n. I'm going to be your new roommate" The Alpaca explained. Emile shook off his emotions, pilling himself back to reality. "S-sorry, y/n. It's a pleasure. Call me Emile please". "It's okay.."

"Whoo! Now we can really get this party started'' Matt cheered, taking a seat back onto the couch. "Matthew, I'm tired. Let's just go to sleep" Emile said while rubbing his eyes. "Sleep is for the weak!". "I have school tomorrow so.." y/n walked to his bunk, sliding into bed. "You do too mister'' Emile said while pointing a finger at Matt. "Ah man.. you guys are lame" Matt mumbled before moving over to his bunk above Emile. Y/n shifted in his bed, sighing contently as he sunk into the soft fabric. "Goodnight y/n, we'll talk more tomorrow" Emile said before rolling over on his side. "Goodnight" y/n replied softly. "Goodnight Matt, oh thanks Matt. Goodnight'' The Alpaca spoke to himself.

Talk tomorrow.. talk.. wasn't I supposed to talk to someone tonight?

As if on cue y/n's phone started to buzz in his pocket, sending his eyes shooting open. "S-sorry guys, I gotta take this" y/n said while sliding out of bed, and heading out of the door. "I wonder who it was," Emile said while humming softly. "Probably his girlfriend or something, he sounded eager to answer that call" Matt replied before closing his eyes. "I love you" Emile said with a soft smile. Matt leaned off his bunk to look down into his eyes as he replied "I love you too".

The first day of school at Cherryton passed by slowly for y/n, sitting impatiently in his chair while he waited for the bell to ring. Once it did, he was out of the classroom heading towards the cafeteria for lunch. The room of filled with all kinds of different animals, separated by their friend groups that mostly consisted of animals of the same species. How dull. Y/n took a spot in line and patiently stood waiting for it to move forward. "Hey" a voice greeted from behind the Alpaca. "Hey Legosi" Y/n greeted back with a smile that slowly faded as he noticed the bags under the wolf's eyes. "Have you been getting enough sleep?" Y/n asked while standing on his toes to meet Legosi's gaze. His eyes widened a bit as he stared back, unable to avert his eyes away.. "Not really..". "Am I going to have to tell Jack?" Y/n said while glancing over to their table. "N-no, okay I'll stop staying up until three in the morning!" Legosi said while shaking his head and waving his hands frantically. "Three in the morning?! What are you doing all night?" Y/n gasped. "Reading manga.." Legosi replied sheepishly. Y/n shook his head slowly, turning back to the selection of food items they had available. "Do you have any plans for today?" Legosi asked while picking out his food. "I was gonna go see about joining the gardening club" y/n replied while grabbing his tray of salad. "T-the gardening club" He repeated. "Yeah.. do you wanna come with me?" Y/n offered. "N-no!" The wolf shook his head. "I-i mean.. I just have things to do, I can't sorry". With that the wolf walked off leaving y/n a little bewildered about his reaction. "Okay... See you later then".

Y/n walked over to a table where Emile and Matt were laughing and talking together. "Who's your friend?" Emile asked while motioning to Legosi who was sitting across the room from them. "He seemed more scared of you then you were of him" Matt said while taking a bite of food. "His name is Legosi's he's.. pretty different I guess" y/n replied, taking a seat on Matt's side of the table. "Do you like him?" Matt asked while nudging y/n's side. "W-what.. what are you even asking, he's a wolf" y/n replied while forcing his gaze into the food in front of him. "So?" Emile said while crossing his arms. "I don't like Legosi like that" y/n replied simply, taking a bite of his salad. STOP IT

The three Alpacas lifted their heads towards the sounds of commotion going on behind them. "Looks like your friend is about to get in a fight or something" Matt said. Legosi stood in front of a small carnivore as he leaned in, sneering at the wolf and clenching his fists tightly. "What's going on with him?" Y/n thought to himself. Before things could escalate further Louis came to diffuse the situation quickly and the carnivore stormed off a few moments later. Y/n kept his gaze focused on Louis as he talked to Legosi, he could almost feel the smugness and pride in the deers voice from across the room. Suddenly y/n felt a sudden surge in his heart as Louis's eyes locked with his, staying focused on the Alpaca. For a moment y/n swears he could make out a wink sent his way, but it was hard to tell from the distance they were at. "Fuck.." y/n said, forcing his eyes back down to the tray in front of him. "Are you okay?" Matt asked. "Y-yes..." Y/n stammered. When he looked up again the deer was gone and everything and seemingly returned to normal. Y/n sighed in relief and returned to eating his food in peace.

Once the school day was over y/n started on his way to the small section of the school for the gardening club. The Alpaca slowly walked into the club, looking around the mostly lifeless area. Despite the lack of animals, all of the plants were neatly lined up. All in perfect health and in bloom. "Wow.. it's beautiful here" y/n spoke in awe. "Thanks, can I help you?" A female voice spoke. Y/n turned, looking down to meet the gaze of the pure white bunny standing in front of him. "Hey Haru" The Alpaca greeted with a smile. "Y/n! Congrats on your enrollment!" She said while examining his uniform. "T-thanks.. your garden is amazing" y/n said while turning his attention back to the plants. "Thank you! It takes a lot of work to keep them that way" Haru giggled. "Oh well.. if you need extra hands, I was hoping that I could join the gardening club". Haru perked up, bouncing excitedly. "Of course I need extra hands! Do you have any experience?". Y/n nodded, replying "I've worked on a farm since I was a kid, I've got plenty". "Perfect! Let's go get a few things set up!'

An hour later

Louis entered the gardening club holding a few flowers that he knew Haru would enjoy since they were so difficult to get a hold of. "Haru.." he called out softly as he entered the entrance gates to the club, not expecting for anyone else to present at this time of day. The first thing he was greeted by was y/n who was bent over, burying a few more plants into a couple of pots. "Who the hell are you?" Louis snapped. Y/n's ears twitched a bit and he turned to the deer slowly. "Oh.. hey Louis, what are you doing here?" The Alpaca greeted. Y/n's white wool was now covered in dirt, and he had his sleeves rolled up to his elbows. "I-i could ask you the same question" Louis replied while crossing his arms. "I just joined the club, so I'm getting work done".

"I didn't expect you to wanna be here" y/n added while placing his hands on his hips. "What do you mean?" Louis asked. "I would have thought working with dirt is below your standards". "I can work with dirt, I just prefer not to have any of it on me" The deer replied while crossing his arms. Y/n for a moment considered tossing a handful of soil at the deer but decided against it, turning his attention back to the plants. "Give me your phone number" Louis spoke suddenly. "Why should I do that?" Y/n replied while bending back down to bury a few more flowers. Louis was caught a little off guard, usually that was all it took. "So I can talk to you obviously" Louis replied, annoyance in his voice. "I don't like your attitude" y/n said while turning back to the deer. "I don't like yours either" Louis said while crossing his arms. "Then why are you asking for my number?". "You want it don't you? You were gawking at me during lunch" Louis replied with a smirk. "N-no.. if I wanted your number I'd just stop anyone in the hall". Louis suddenly started to chuckle, brushing off the comment like nothing. "You're so much fun y/n, please give me your number".

After finishing up with the rest of the planting y/n started on his way back to his dorm where his roommates were probably wondering where he was. "Where do you think you're going?" Louis spoke, making y/n stop in his tracks. "My boyfriend's place" y/n replied sarcastically. For a moment y/n swears he saw Louis's ears point downwards before he replied "Who? Is it Legosi?".

Y/n for a moment felt his cheeks heat up, but shook his head slowly. "No..". "Liar," Louis mumbled. "I'm not lying!' y/n argued. "It's written all over your face, you look even cuter when you're blushing".
"Stop it" y/n groaned, rolling his eyes slightly. "Stop what?" Louis replied with a smirk. "Flirting, it's annoying". Louis only smiled further, walking backwards in front of y/n. "What's wrong with a little flirting? It's not like were fucking yet". Y/n could feel the words get caught in his throat, choosing to stay silent instead of saying something that embarrasses himself. "Pay attention to me" Louis demanded, stopping in front of y/n. "No" y/n replied simply, walking around the deer. "Hey!" Louis called out, stopping in front of y/n again. "Why are you so persistent?" The Alpaca groaned.

Louis eye's widened a bit at the question, it was something he didn't really know himself. It was getting late and he could be back at the gardening club with Haru. Probably getting laid, but here he was following around y/n like a lost puppy. "I don't... know" the deer mumbled. "You don't know?" Y/n reiterated "I.. wanna be near you"..

Y/n breath hitched slightly as he locked eyes with the deer again, forcing his gaze back to the dorm building that was slowly approaching. "Louis.. stop" y/n mumbled. "Come stay the night in my dorm" the deer tried to speak convincingly. "No" y/n said while shaking his head. "Why not?". "Why not? All you want is sex! You're with Haru aren't you?" Y/n snapped. "First, we're not together. Second, sex can come later" Louis said, un phased by y/n's anger. "Oh my god.. what's it going to take for you to leave me alone?" Y/n said while rubbing his temples. "One night, come stay at my dorm. You can even use my shower to wash off that filthy dirt" Louis said while pinching some off of y/n's shirt. Y/n sighed tiredly, lifting his phone to send a text message to Emile.

Y/n: don't wait for me, I'm not coming home tonight

Emile: Are you okay?

Y/n: Yes, I'm just staying the night at a friends

Emile: Wear protection

Y/n: we're not having sex

Emile: That's what they all say

Y/n: Omg

Y/n lowered his phone, to look at the deer who was impatiently tapping his foot in front of him. "Fine.. one night" The Alpaca said with a sigh. "Good choice, let's get going," Louis said while extending his hand out to the Alpaca. "Whatever.." y/n mumbled, hesitantly locking his fingers with Louis's.

The two reached the top floor of the dorms, which y/n wasn't even aware had actual rooms since almost no other herbivores went to that high up. "Why is your room on a different floor from everyone else?" Y/n asked while turning to the deer. "Because I'm that special, I plan on being beastar after all," Louis said while reaching into his pocket for his dorm key. Walking into the dorm, y/n could tell that Louis or his family had sunk a lot more money into this room than any of the other students. Tv, couch, personal restroom, anything a normal house would usually have. "You're spoiled" y/n said while turning to the deer. "I know," Louis replied curtly, walking over to his couch and sinking into the soft cushions. "The shower is over there," Louis said while pointing to the room behind him. "Thanks.." y/n mumbled. "Anytime, maybe next time I can join you" Louis replied with a wink. Y/n rolled his eyes, walking into the restroom and shutting the door behind him, leaving Louis to doze off to the sound of running water.

After a quick shower y/n came out of the slightly steamy restroom drying his fluffy wool with a towel. "Louis?" Y/n spoke softly. Nothing but silence. The Alpaca slowly moved around the couch to see Louis resting his head on a small pillow in a light sleep. "You're a lot more enjoyable when you aren't talking" y/n mumbled. That was enough for the deer to stir awake, slowly opening his eye lids to reveal those beautiful eyes. "Huh?" Louis groaned while rubbing his eyes, focusing his gaze on the Alpaca standing in front of him. "You don't have your shirt on, are we having sex now?" Louis spoke groggily. "No, my only shirt is dirty. So you're just gonna have to control yourself" y/n said while taking a seat beside the deer. Louis slowly sat up, groaning a little as he did. "I'll try but.. " the deer mumbled before adding "Can I touch it?".
"I don't know... Say please" y/n said with a smirk. Louis scowled slightly but managed to force out a simple "Please". Y/n shrugged, scooting a little closer to the deer. Louis took that as an invite, sitting up to gently drag his fingers through the soft substance. "Wow.." Louis spoke in amazement. "That's enough" y/n said before making some space in-between them. "I wasn't done," Louis said while crossing his arms. "Too bad, where am I sleeping?" Y/n asked while standing up. "In my bed of course" .

"Why would I do that if you have a couch?" Y/n said while placing his hands on his hips. "How else are we going to cuddle?" Louis replied with a smirk. "I didn't take you for a cuddling person". Louis smirks more, shrugging slightly "I'm not but I'd love to feel you up a little more". "If you even graze me, I'm going to boot you off the bed" Y/n said while crossing his arms. "Sounds worth it to me, let's go to bed".

Louis's ears twitched a bit as he heard his dorm's door close gently. The deer yawned softly as he lifted his head, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "Not a morning person?" Y/n said while placing a few items onto a counter. "No, it's just you wake up freakishly early it seems" The deer said before asking "Where did you go?". "To get us breakfast, you need to eat more you twig," Y/n said while walking over and sitting next to Louis on the edge of the bed. "I'll let that slide for now" Louis grumbled as y/n placed a plate on his lap. "Thanks hun" Y/n teased, leaning in planting a kiss against his cheek before standing back up and heading for the door. The deer was flustered to say the least, all that verbal banter and then that. "W-where are you going? The deer stammered, sliding out of bed. "Are you still trying to get me to sleep with you?" Y/n said while crossing his arms. "We already did love," Louis chuckled. "You know what I mean" Y/n groaned. "We don't have to have sex, I just enjoy your company".

Y/n released the doorknob, walking back over and sitting next to the deer. "Tell me about yourself y/n" Louis said while inching a bit closer to the Alpaca. "What do you wanna know, let me guess. My favorite sex position?" The Alpaca replied sarcastically. Louis chuckled, wrapping his arms around the other male. "What kind of food do you like?".

Such a simple question, so simple it kinda caught y/n off guard. So he went with the first thing that came to his mind. "Uuhhh.. I like pizza, what do you like?" y/n replied, shifting around the deers hold. "Celery," Louis replied simply. "Celery?" Y/n repeated. "What? is something wrong with liking Celery?" The deer grumbled. "Sounds kinda bland". Louis couldn't help but gasp, lowering his arms from the Alpaca. "Celery is delicious, anyone who says otherwise is an idiot". Y/n chuckled a bit, nodding slowly. "Okay Louis.. but asparagus is where it's really at". Before a full blown argument could occur, y/n's phone started to buzz beneath the blanket. Y/n fumbled for his phone, answering it quickly.

"Hello?". "Hey y/n, it's Legosi.. are you uh doing anything?" The wolf asked shyly. "I'm sort of a little busy Legosi, but I'll be free later" y/n replied happily. "Me and the guys are gonna go see a movie, do you wanna come?". "Sure! I'd love to go see a movie. Which one?" Y/n as. "It's a hor-." Legosi was cut off as other voices erupted through the phone. "You'd better be there, we miss you!" Y/n managed to hear jack speak. "I miss you too, I'll see you later okay!" the Alpaca replied before the call suddenly ended. The moment he lowered the phone he could feel the wave of anger radiating off of the deer in front of him. "What?" Y/n asked. "Kiss me" Louis demanded while crossing his arms. "W-what" y/n repeated again. The deer leaned in, pressing his lips firmly against y/n despite his gasp of surprise. What do I do.. The Alpaca's head felt like it was spinning, this was actually happening right now. He was kissing a lead actor and the animals that were planning on becoming beastars. Y/n placing his hands gently on Louis's hips to stop from falling on his back from the intense kiss. That was a mistake because Louis took it as a sign to keep going, the deer sliding on his lap causing him to fall backwards on the bed. "Mmfm.." y/n tried to speak. Louis pulled away looking down into y/n's eyes. "Hmm?"he hummed. "You're crazy" y/n panted. "Crazy for you" Louis said with a wink. "We aren't a couple" y/n said while gripping the deers shirt. "Of course not, we'll have to work for that". Their lips met once more, this time both members putting effort and passion into it. It was smooth kissing up until Louis pulled at the strap of y/n's underwear. "Hey!" Y/n yelped as he felt his hand make contact. Louis took the opportunity to slide his tongue into y/n's mouth, hungrily kissing him while rubbing a hand through his wool. "Wanna see something that Legosi can't do?" Louis hummed. "Uh.. what?" Y/n spoke flustered. The deer gently sunk his teeth against y/n's neck while massaging his hips. "Fuck..." Y/n moaned, covering his mouth as he did.

Louis hesitantly pulled away from y/n to look towards the door of his dorm. "Looks like we'll have to finish this later" Louis hummed into y/n's ear sending shivers down his spine. "Sure we will" y/n replied softly. The deer sat up on y/n's lap to slide off the bed and head for the door. "Yes, yes. Who is it?" Louis asked without opening the door. "L-louis the drama club is waiting for you, wasn't there supposed to be rehearsal for Adler today?" An unfamiliar voice said from behind the door. Louis immediately rushed to get ready, literally stripping out of his clothes in front of y/n but keeping his boxers on. "I'll be there in five minutes, hurry up and get back!" Louis said while opening a drawer for fresh clothes. "Hah you're late" y/n chuckled while pointing at the frantic deer. "It's your fault for being so damn beautiful" Louis said while pulling on a pair of pants. "Not bad" y/n said, making Louis chuckle. "You haven't gotten the full experience yet".

Louis approached the Alpaca, leaning in to give him a quick kiss. "I'll see you later, lock the door after you leave". Y/n nodded and watched as he exited the room, rushing out of the dorm building. "Jeez.." y/n vented, running a hand through his hair.

Y/n stood in line patiently waiting to receive his ticket into the school while Jack bounced excitedly behind him. "I can't believe that Legosi is actually gonna be on stage!" The golden retriever squealed. "How did that happen anyway? I thought he hated acting" The Alpaca asked while thinking back to their day together in the studio. "You didn't hear? Louis isn't going to play Adler this year". Y/n's eyes widened a bit hearing, only a couple days ago it seemed as if the deer only cared about playing this role. "Is he okay?" Y/n asked with a frown. "Yeah! I saw him walk into the building a little while ago. He seemed alright" Jack confirmed. Y/n nodded, turning his attention to the staff member selling tickets. After receiving theirs, the two friends walked into the auditorium and made their way to the seats only a few rows away from the stage. "I can't wait.." Jack said giddily in his seat. "Me either, I bet Legosi is gonna look amazing in his costume" y/n said while gazing at the stage as the other drama members rushed to get it set up. "Oh really? You think Legosi is amazing?" Jack asked with a smirk. "Well.. yeah.. he's adorable, funny, caring and handsome. What more could you want?" The Alpaca said with a shrug. The smile on Jack's face was huge as he responded "That's a good question, so what are you waiting for?". "What do you mean?" Y/n asked while tilting his head. Jack jumped up in seat, gripping y/n's shirt lightly. "Legosi is single! Ask him out!". Y/n's eyes widened at that suggestion, it sounded crazy to him. "you know I can't, he's a carn-." Y/n was cut off as Jack said "Who cares?! All that matters is that you two like each other!". Y/n flushed a bit, biting his lip as he asked. "Legosi likes me? Did he say that?". The golden retriever chuckled nervously, shaking his head a bit. "N-no, not directly but it doesn't take a genius to tell he has it bad for you".
The Alpaca felt a soft smile growing on his lips, but the worry in the back of his mind washed those excited feelings away. "I-i can't..".
Jack frowned slightly, falling back in seat a bit. "Can I ask why?". Y/n sighed, focusing his gaze back onto the stage. "My parents would kill me". Jack started to chuckle, patting his friend on the shoulder. "You ran away from home y/n, they're probably gonna kill you anyway. Might as well die happy right?".

The lights suddenly started to dim and the room fell silent as the animals sat back in their chairs, eager for this year's performance of Adler. "I heard that they replaced Louis this year". "I wonder who it is''. "They're gonna blow it". "I hope it isn't a carnivore". Y/n rolled his eyes, whispering. "I wish people would shut up". The spotlight fell on Adler who looked much different from the promotional posters they had around the school, looking much taller and more built. Y/n tried not to think about it but in the back of his mind he wondered back Louis was doing, and if he was truly okay or not. It was a long play that dragged on for at least half an hour before Legosi finally stepped onto the stage, dressed sharply as a villain. Jack shook y/n by the shoulder in excitement as his best friend took to the stage, staring at Adler with a look of determination. Or something else. As the two began their sword fight the two seemed to be having a conversation that none of the crowd could make out, whatever it was the two started to get more and more aggressive with their strikes before Legosi slammed his fist against Alders face knocking his mask to the ground. Y/n grimace slightly, glancing at Jack. "i-is this part of the show?" The Alpaca asked nervously. "i-i don't know..". The other animals around them were equally as confused as the two carnivores exchanged a few swings before Alder or whoever locked Legosi in some type of tight hold. "What's happening?" Y/n said while rising from his seat. Before the curtains started to fall y/n could make out the red shimmer of blood landing onto the ground with a splat before another Alder took to the stage, calming the situation. Y/n watched as the three actors took a bow, all of them attempting to hide their emotions. As the curtains fell the crowd was left in utter silence and awe at the performance they had just witnessed. "Holy crap.. that was way more violent than it was last year" Jack said while taking a deep breath. "I.. have a feeling that wasn't fake.." y/n said while gripping the armrest of his chair. The Alpaca suddenly jumped up, heading for the exit door. "W-where are you going?" Jack called out. "To check on Legosi" y/n replied before rushing out towards the back of the auditorium.

By the time y/n had found the three actors Louis was standing in front of them with his fists clenched while the two carnivores cowered in front of him. "L-legosi, are you okay?" Y/n said while walking up to the three. All three members of the drama club shifted their attention to the Alpaca as he approached. "Y-yes, I'm fine. Don't worry" Legosi said with a hint of a smile. "Can I get some of that attention too?" The tiger purred as y/n shifted this gaze towards him. "No" y/n stated simply. Something about y/n coming to see Legosi after the performance instead of himself even after disappearing from the leading role made Louis's emotions flicker with a small hint of jealousy. It made him want to act petty "These two trouble makers are fine, but how did you enjoy the show?" Louis asked while placing his hand on his hips. "Fine up until the fist fighting y/n" replied with a smirk.  "I hope it was at least entertaining" Louis chuckled, leaning in planting a kiss against y/n's cheek to his surprise as well as Legosi's. "O-oh.. yeah, I guess it was" y/n replied sheepishly. The wolf watched watched romantic gesture with a surprised expression, the small flames of disappointment started to engulf his heart. "Y-you two are.." the wolf spoke softly. Louis ignored the wolf, keeping his attention focused on the Alpaca in front of him. "I have to go clean up the mess these two made, I'll see you soon beautiful" with one more kiss from the deer, Louis walked away leaving the three other animals standing by themselves.

It felt like Legosi was losing his mind, laying in bed with a blank stare while a storm of unfamiliar emotions ached in his chest. "Hey Legosi, are you okay dude?" Collot said before behind his curtains. The wolf rolled on his side, pulling his knees up against his chest. "Why wouldn't I be?" The wolf spoke, trying not to sound upset. "You're being all moody today.. well moodier than usual" Collot responded, before gently pushing the curtains to the side revealing the wolf. "Leave me alone" Legosi stated before covering his large ears. "I know I'm not Jack, but you can tell me what's wrong man" the other canine encouraged. The wolf sighed before leaning up to face his friend revealing the dark bags under his eyes. "That bad huh?" Collot chuckled a bit. Legosi nodded slowly, meeting his friend's gaze. "I'm not sure what's wrong with me lately, everything just feels different," the wolf explained. "What do you mean?" Collot asked while furrowing his brows a bit. "It's hard to explain, it feels like I was just watching life go by. Now I feel.. alive' Legosi said. The large white dog chuckled nervously before saying "that's good right?". "Sort of.. everything feels so real, I hate it" the wolf vented. "Emotions are good for you Legosi, you shouldn't be keeping them bottled up".

Legosi nodded slowly, forcing his gaze towards the spot where y/n had slept only a few weeks ago. Collot seemed to notice this, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "I get it.. you like y/n huh?" The canine teased slightly. "W-what no! What does he have to do with this?!" The wolf argued, a flustered expression covering his face. "Everything" Collot replied with a smirk before asking "Right?". The wolf huffed, his shoulders falling slightly as he replied "Yes..". "Did you two get into an argument or something?". Legosi shook his head, replying "N-no.. it's just.. he has a boyfriend already". Collot winced a bit, a frown now on his face. "Ouch.. sorry buddy, that's just the way it goes sometimes" the canine said, adding "who is it anyway?". Legosi groaned loudly, the deers beautiful eyes and perfect face flashing in his mind. "Louis". Collot seemed to understand why Legosi was in so much pain after that. "You know Legosi... You're still an amazing guy, even better than Louis in my opinion" the canine consoled. "We both know that isn't true.. I'm me.. and Louis is the next beastar" the wolf admitted sadly. "You need to shut up" Collot snapped, making the wolf's eyes widen at the sudden hostility. "You're so much more than you give yourself credit for, stop beating yourself up". Legosi nodded his head, taking in his friend's words intently. "What should I do?" The wolf asked while fidgeting nervously. "It's time to go talk to y/n. Now" Collot said while opening a window, the light from outside flooding into the dorm. "N-now?" Legosi stammered, squinting as the light reached his tired eyes. "Yes. No more sulking.. it's time to man up" The dog encouraged. A look of determination washed over the wolf's face "O-okay.. I can do it".

~at the gardening club~

Y/n panted as he placed down the final pot completing a row of beautiful blooming roses. "Thank you so much for your help y/n! That would have taken me forever" Haru said with a giggle. "N-no problem..." Y/n replied, a hint of fear hidden beneath his words which the rabbit quickly caught onto. "Is something wrong?" She asked with a reassuring smile. "H-haru.. can I ask you something sort of.. personal?" Y/n asked while fidgeting with his fingers. The rabbit took a deep breath before giving a nod to her friend. "Y-you and Louis.. does it bother you the way he is?". Haru locked eyes with y/n as he said this, realization flashing in her mind. "Did you two have sex?" She asked carefully. "N-no! but.. I felt like you deserve to know, I think he has feelings for me" y/n replied carefully. Haru sighed as she closed her eyes, taking in the information. "Well.. do you feel the same?" The rabbit asked, no anger in her tone whatsoever. "I don't know.." y/n said while facing the ground. "Is there.. someone else?" She asked with a frown. Y/n was quiet for a moment before responding "there's another guy who I really like.. and it kinda feels like there's no chance for us ". Haru scoffed a bit saying "Louis can't stop you from being with them" then adding "what are they like?". A smile grew on y/n's face as his thoughts returned to the wolf who hadn't returned any of his calls in the last week. The way he smiled, the way he looked at y/n with so much care and love. It was enough to make y/n's cheeks start to redden. "H-he's.. perfect" y/n replied lost in thought. Haru smiled softly, seeing just how deep y/n had it. "Perfect? Now I gotta meet him" she giggled. "You aren't mad about Louis?" Y/n asked worriedly. "W-well... Yes but.. Louis is a handful. I think it'll be for the best'' she said with a sigh.

Y/n kneeled down to meet his friend's height before wrapping his soft arms around her, pulling her to a warm embrace. "You're a great friend Hau, thank you for being so amazing". She giggled while melting into the affection, saying "I'm not even trying either". Y/n chuckled a bit, stopping as he noticed Haru's gaze directed behind him at an odd angle. "Are you okay?" Y/n asked carefully. "C-can I help you?" She asked with a bit of fear hidden beneath her words. The Alpaca stood up, whipping around to be greeted by tired eyes and a crooked smile. "Hey y/n... Long time no see" the wolf greeted happily.

"It's only been a week," y/n said with a chuckle. "Really? It felt like forever for me" Legosi replied, his tail slowly behind him. Haru's eyes widened a bit in realization, a smirk tugging at her lips. "Who's your friend y/n?" She asked while looking up at the wolf who towered over her. "Oh, this is Legosi. Legosi, this is Haru, she's in charge of the gardening club" y/n introduced. "H-Hi" Legosi greeted sheepishly. Haru examined the wolf with a hand on her hip, making him tense up a bit. "So Legosi, you came all this way to see y/n?" The rabbit asked questioningly. "U-uh.. y-yeah" Legosi managed to get out. "Hau" y/n said while crossing his arms. "I'm just having a little fun with him, he's adorable" She replied with a smile. "Legosi, did you need something?" The Alpaca said while meeting his gaze. "No, I just felt like seeing you" he replied making y/n's cheeks heat up slightly. "Why don't you two go for a walk together, I'll take care of things here y/n" Haru spoke suddenly, then nudged the two larger males out of the gardening club. "A-are you sure?" Y/n said while looking back at his unfinished work. "Positive! Have fun!" Haru replied curtly before disappearing behind the club's gates.  "So.. what do you wanna do?" Legosi said while tucking his hands into his pockets. "Wanna go break some rules again?" Y/n replied with a smile. "Maybe.." the wolf said, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "Let's go!" Y/n spoke excitedly, grabbing the wolf's large hand and leading him towards the school. "w-what are we doing?" Legosi stammered, following close behind his friend. "You'll see" y/n replied with a smile.

The two animals ascended a flight of stairs, stopping as they reached a pair of metal doors with blurred windows. "This is the pool area" Legosi said, gazing over the sign that stated so. "I know.. you ready to take a dip?" Y/n replied with a smirk. "I-i think it's closed until summer" Legosi said while reaching and jiggling the doorknob. "It's locked," the wolf said before placing his arm back at his side. "Nothing is ever really locked" y/n chuckled, digging into his bag and pulling out a few metal clips. "Watch my back" y/n said while dropping to his knees, proceeding to pick at the lock. "Is this a good idea?" Legosi said, shifting nervously. "It'll be fine.. no one comes up here anyway right?" Y/n said while glancing up at the wolf. "R-right.." he confirmed.

With a few more clinks the door slowly creaked open and y/n jumped back up, throwing up his arms in accomplishment. "Wow! I didn't think that would work" y/n chuckled. "Have you picked locks before?" Legosi said while tilting his head slightly. "Yeah.." y/n replied vaguely, then strolling into the pool room. The room was well lit from the sunlight beaming in through the roof and windows into the sparkling water below. "Wow.." Legosi said while stopping at the edge of the pool. "Have you ever been here before?" Y/n asked while leaning down and dripping his fingers into the relatively cold water. "Yeah, but never while the pool actually had water in it," Legosi replied. "They probably have it ready for summer already, since it's so close".

"Did you bring something to swim in?" Legosi asked, noticing that y/n had dipped his uniform tie into the water. "Nope.." y/n replied before standing up and loosening the tie around his neck. "W-what are you doing?" Legosi asked, his eyes gazing over the wool on y/n's now exposed chest. "I'm not swimming in my clothes Legosi, you can if you want to though" y/n chuckled, now pulling his shirt off over his head.  Legosi felt the urge to turn away to give his herbivore friend some privacy but of course his body didn't react to his demands, staying in place practically drooling over the Alpaca in front of him. "I-i guess I'll do that too then.." Legosi replied, pulling off his jacket and tossing it to the side. In the short moment the wolf had lifted this shirt up, obscuring his vision y/n had already thrown off his clothes now standing in a pair of (f/c) boxers. "You should dive in so you get used to it faster" y/n advised before jumping into the pool with a splash, some of the water hitting the wolf. "S-sure" Legosi replied before diving into the water, a safe distance away from y/n of course. The moment Legosi resurfaced, he was greeted by a few snickers from y/n as he examined the wolf. "You look funny when your fur is wet '' the Alpaca giggled. "So do you" Legosi shot back with a smile. Y/n's eyes widened as he watched the wolf dive into the water, resurfacing a few moments later between y/n's legs. "H-hey!" Y/n chuckled as Legosi lifted the smaller animal onto his shoulders. "Wow, you're super light" the wolf said before spinning in a few circles, still holding his friend. "O-okay, put me down. I'm getting dizzy" y/n said while brushing some fur out of Legosi's eyes. "Okay" he replied with a half smile. The wolf leaned back still holding y/n, the two falling into the water with a loud splash.

After a good thirty minutes of playing in the water like a couple of kids the two got tired, deciding to sit on the edge of the pool dipping their legs into the water. "So me and my brother come back and it's super late. My parents were furious and they grounded us for months!" Y/n said while looking up thoughtfully. Legosi nodded, listening intently as he talked about his life, absorbing every detail he could. "What are your parents like?" Y/n asked, a soft smile on his face. Legosi's ears curled downwards at that question, more personal than he was prepared for. "I u-uh.. don't wanna talk about them" the wolf deflected. Y/n frowned a bit, saying "O-okay.. I understand". "What are yours like? They sound strict" the wolf asked, trying to change the subject. "They are.. we don't get a lot of freedom back home" y/n replied a worried frown forcing its way into his face. Legosi sighed, gazing over his friend with sympathy. Wanting nothing more than to hold him and tell him how everything was going to be alright but choosing to stay in place. "Do they know about Louis?" Legosi asked, the red deer flashing in his mind. "What do you mean?" Y/n asked, tilting his head slightly. "That you two are.. dating" the wolf added. Y/n stared at Legosi for a moment before sputtering a laugh out. "We aren't dating.. he's just very.. indecisive" y/n said with a shrug. "Y-you two a-aren't together?" The wolf spoke, a bit of disbelief in his voice. "No.. he isn't saying that is he?" Y/n said while crossing his arms. That settles it then. Legosi placed his hands on the Alpaca's shoulders before leaning in, pressing his lips firmly against the other males, causing his (e/c) eyes to widen in surprise.

"I-im sorry!" The wolf blurted as he pulled out of the kiss, leaving y/n's lips desperate for attention. For a moment the wolf wanted nothing more than to take back what he just did, fearing that y/n would run away from him again. "Shh.." the Alpaca purred, wrapping his arms around the taller males neck to pull him back into the moment. Legosi locked eyes with y/n, his melting into those warm e/c ones that stared back lovingly. It washed away all the worries of rejection and discrimination out of his thoughts, it being replaced with the beautiful animal in front of him. The two silently enjoyed the feeling of holding each other, gently swishing in the water while they did. "C-can I kiss you again?" The wolf asked, his eyes never leaving y/n's lips. The other male chuckled before responding "Sure". The wolf placed his clawed hands on y/n's lower back as he leaned down for their lips to meet again, this time lasting for so much longer. Every sensation sent jolts of heat and excitement into both males body's, each of them savoring each second they could. Legosi's fangs gently pricking against y/n's lips, or the Alpaca's soft wool brushing against all parts of his body. How the wolf would unknowingly growl softly between kisses. It was a moment that the two would remember for the rest of their lives.

"Wow..." Was all the Legosi could say. "Yeah.. wow" y/n chuckled while lovingly scratching the wolf's large ear. No other words had to be shared as their actions had said it all. The heat and intensity of each touch was enough to understand how they felt about each other. After a long while of comfortable silence Legosi dropped his arms, saying "Let's get out of here". "Alright.." y/n agreed. Both males stepped out of the water, y/n beginning to dry himself with a towel while the wolf shook the liquid off causing it to spray on the other male. "Come on Legosi" y/n complained, bending back over to dry himself off once more. "S-sorry" the wolf said while rubbing his neck. The taller males eyes gazed over y/n as he prepared to get dressed once more, making sure to take in every detail while he could. Every curve, every curl, the way some of his wool was brighter in some area. Any imperfections, it was all perfect to him. "You're.. beautiful" Legosi said with half lidded eyes. "Oh.." the sheer power of those words were enough to make y/n's insides flutter and words to fail him. "Come on.." Legosi said before promptly leaving the pool room, y/n following close behind, watching as the larger males tail wagged gently behind him.

The two males exited the school together, walking in silence towards the male dorms. The weight of the event that had occured hung over the air making it hard for either animal to get the right words out. "I..." Legosi started, y/n immediately listening intently. "I.. will you..come to my dorm?". The Alpaca glanced at his watch seeing there was still a few more good hours before curfew, he saw no problem with it. "Okay.. sure".

Entering the dorm they were greeted with silence, except the familiar hum of the ac beginning to cool the room. "Where are the guys?" Y/n asked while strolling into the room and taking a seat on the edge of Legosi's bed. "I don't know.." the wolf replied simply. Y/n nodded slowly, a smile slowly growing on his face. "Looks like I have you all to myself". Legosi's tail began to wag faster as his eyes gazed over the pure white animal sitting in his living space. "Yeah.. just us" Legosi replied, working his way towards the herbivore. "What do you wanna d-." Y/n said before the wolf gently pushed him back against the bed, crawling into the back beside him. "Take a nap, '' Legosi replied, grabbing the large covers and pulling them over himself and the animal lying beside him. "Oh.." y/n said, heat rising through his body as Legosi pulled him back against his chest. The Alpaca wasn't really tired but Legosi really did enjoy sleep so he decided not to argue against it as the wolf placed his head gently above the other male's. "Don't you wanna talk about.. us?" Y/n asked, his tone soft. Legosi was quiet for a moment besides the deep breaths he would take sending a shiver up y/n's spine. "What's there to talk about?" The wolf responded slowly, then adding "You're mine".

Y/n breath hitched slightly, not expecting that intensity. "I.. don't know if I'm ready.." the alpaca responded. "Ready for what?" Legosi asked, a bit of heat in his cheeks. "To be in a relationship with a carnivore... It isn't going to be easy" y/n responded, a somber look on his face. "I know.." Legosi replied. "We can make it work". Y/n swallowed, glancing back at the wolf who had his eyes closed, beginning to drift off to sleep. "Do you really think we can? Even after everything that's happened at this school?". Legosi opened an eye to look at his lover as he replied "yes..".

"Because I love you".

"Oh man, feel that heat?" Haru giggled as she stepped out of the pickup truck, gently shutting the door behind her. "Yeah, it's definitely summer time" y/n chuckled as he lowered the truck's rear, beginning to unload different potted plants. "Thanks again for agreeing to help me, the festival always takes me forever to do by myself" Haru spoke graciously. "Of course Haru, I'm in the gardening club too after all," the alpaca said with a smile. The two herbivores reached their rather small stand on the outskirts of the mostly barren festival area. After arranging the planets in a presentable fashion the two sat down together behind their stand to shield themselves from the sun's rays. "Now we play the waiting game" Haru said while pulling out her phone, texting away. "How long are we going to be out here" y/n said while panting slightly. 'only a few hours, you can do it!' the rabbit encouraged.

Y/n could only sit for a half hour or so before he got bored, starting to wander around looking at the other stands that were available early, mostly food. The Alpaca stopped at a colorful stand, staring hungrily at the different selection of pizza they had. "Hungry?" A voice spoke from behind the herbivore, making him jump slightly. Louis chuckled happily, a wave of stress and depression wiping almost completely off his expression as the two locked eyes. "L-louis, what are you doing here?" Y/n said while turning to the red deer. "What? Don't you miss these sweet lips" Louis hummed, making the other animal flush. "Y-ye.. I mean no.. sorta.." y/n rambled on, making Louis smile further. "I don't think I really knew what cute was until I met you" the deer chuckled before turning to the panther standing behind the stand. "We'll have two slices please" the deer spoke politely, then digging into his wallet. "Sure thing" The panther replied before, placing two places onto a thin white paper plate and handing it to the deer. "You didn't have to do that.." y/n said while accepting the plate from the other herbivore. "It's just pizza, that's chump change. Just wait till I can really buy you something nice" Louis chuckled before walking off, y/n trailing behind him. "L-louis.. can I ask you something?" Y/n asked sheepishly, looking down slightly as he did. The deer suddenly stopped making y/n bump into him, not that he reacted to it in any way. "What is it?' the deer asked, the two locking eyes once more.

"W-what are we?" Y/n asked, digging his hands into his pockets. "What do you mean?" Louis asked before a wave of realization washed over this expression. "Oh..".

"I don't know.. friends with benefits?" The deer said with a dismissive shrug, making y/n frown slightly. "You don't think.. there could be more" the Alpaca trailed off, his voice falling softer. "Pfft.. like what, marriage? What exactly do you want out of this relationship?" Louis said while crossing his arms. "I want you to be happy, what do you want?" Y/n said, starting to get a little irritated. The deer looked up thoughtfully, thinking deeply about that question. What did he want from y/n. What was the reason that he couldn't seem to let go. "I.. want to feel excited" the deer answered, making y/n squint slightly. "W-what.." the Alpaca said. "I wanna feel something.. something real" the deer explained, reaching out and placing a hand on y/n's chest. "I think that's what you do for me"..

Legosi was in the middle of painting, filling in the white paper with long green strokes. "This dinosaur is going to look great!" Kibi said while bouncing excitedly. "Stop jumping or you'll bring the whole thing down before we're done!" Kai snapped. "S-sorry.."

Legosi chuckled slightly, turning to his two friends. "Let's get this done so I can head back to Cherryton" The wolf said while opening up another bucket of paint with his claws. "Why did you have someone waiting on you?" Kai sneered slightly. "N-no.." the wolf stammered, which immediately gave away that he was lying. "Who is it?" Kibi asked while tilting his head slightly. "Louis?". The wolf had to hold back a couple of Snickers at that, the thought of him and Louis. That could never happen. "No," Legosi replied simply. "Are you sure?" Kai asked, dragging out his words. "Yes," the wolf replied curtly. "Well if you wanna make sure, Louis is right over there" Kibi said while pointing behind the wolf. Legosi definitely hadn't planned on talking to Louis since the two hadn't really spoken much since the incident during Adler but when he turned he was greeted with something he hadn't expected. Louis pretty much pressed up against y/n with a small hand resting on his panting chest. Y/n had that same blush from a few days ago covering his cheeks, a soft smile covering his lips as Louis spoke. Most likely flirting. "Y/n.." the wolf stated simply, the tubes of paint falling from his clawed hands. "Who that fuck is y/n" Kai said while turning to Kibi who shrugged in response. "I gotta go take care of something" Legosi stated simply, before standing up and walking away leaving his two friends to finish up the rest of the work. "Okay sure, we'll just do everything" Kai groaned. "Just keep painting," Kibi responded quickly.

"Y/n.. please.. be my boyfriend" Louis asked hopefully, now holding onto both of y/n's hands. "I-i.. can't" the Alpaca responded while gently attempting to tug his hands away. The deer responded only by holding them tighter and pulling the herbivore closer to his gaze. "Why not y/n.. I can see it in your eyes, you want this as much as I do" the deer spoke intensely. "I-i know.. b-." Y/n yelped as he was suddenly yanked out of Louis's hold, falling back against a warm surface. "What do you think you're doing Louis?" The wolf said, a low growl hiding under his words.

Chapter Text

"Explaining to our dear y/n why it is we should be together" the deer said while still retaining eye contact with the Alpaca. Legosi huffed, moving the herbivore behind his large stature. "W-well.. maybe y/n doesn't want to be with you" the wolf responded defensively. Louis only rolled his eyes, a smile growing on lips. "You think so Legosi?" The deer taunted, making him snarl further. "Let's not do this here.." y/n tried to interject, only for the two to continue their bickering. "I know so, me and y/n have something.. special" the wolf said while crossing his arms. That statement clipped at Louis's nerves, the heat of anger rising to his face. "You're delusional wolf, are you sure that you aren't just craving Alpaca?" The deer spat. "I-i.. would never do anything to hurt y/n" Legosi said, his ears flattening against his head. "We both know that isn't true, it's carnivore's nature to hurt herbivores" the deer said, the words filling Legosi's chest with a sharp pain. "That.. isn't true.. I never once felt like I wanted to hurt y/n.. if anything I've always felt like I have to protect him" the wolf explained, then adding "Something about y/n.. is worth protecting". "Y/n is a lot more than an object for you to obsess over dog, he deserves to be happy don't you think?' Louis asked while crossing his arms. The wolf's breath hitched for a second and he tried to respond "y-yes! Of course!". 

"Then why don't you let him decide what he wants?" Louis said while turning to the Alpaca who seemed to be at a loss, never having experienced two males fighting over him before. "I-i uh.." y/n croaked, the large wolf now facing him also. The air felt heavy, the words couldn't seem to force themselves out. "I.. love both of you".

Neither animal looked disappointed, they sort of just glanced at each other with a confused look, not expecting that answer. "But who do you love more?" Louis asked eagerly. "I love you too," Legosi responded, his tail wagging slowly behind him. "You.. can't ask me to pick between you too.." y/n said, his eyes focused on the dusty ground beneath them. "I'm sorry love, but that's what I'm going to have to ask you to do" Louis replied softly. "It's okay y/n..." Legosi encouraged. "I won't be mad.. even if you pick Louis". "No.." y/n said while crossing his arms, now turning away from both animals. "Y/n don't act childish" Louis said with a half hearted chuckle. "I can't.." the Alpaca responded, his tone starting to lose some of it's composure. "You.. have to y/n, we need to know" Legosi said while looking down into the herbivore's (e/c) eyes. It was silent for a second as both animals looked intently at y/n, practically hovering over him while they waited for their answer. Which they wouldn't receive, as it was replaced with soft sniffles. "Y-y/n?" Legosi spoke softly as the shimmer of tears started to form in his eyes. "Oh.." Louis spoke, a look of worry washing over his face as the tear streamed down the Alpaca's cheek. "I can't believe you two would ask me to make a decision like this" the Alpaca said while pointlessly attempting to rub the tears away. "I care about you both and if you're going to push me against a wall like this then none of us should be together".

Those words sent both animals in front of the Alpaca into full blown panic mode. "Hey, hey y/n. Don't be so hasty" Louis said in a soft tone. "Y-yeah.. we're sorry for forcing such a tough decision on you" the wolf said while fidgeting nervously with his tail. It was quiet for a second as y/n calmed himself down and Louis rubbed his chin thinking of a way to resolve their current situation. "How's flipping a coin sound?" Louis joked with a smirk. "No" y/n and Legosi responded quickly, the deer giving a nod. "Well.. I've never really been in this position before" Louis said with a sigh. "I've never been in a relationship, does this usually happen?" Legosi asked, tilting his head slightly. "Definitely not.. but we're a rare case I suppose" Louis responded. 

Then an idea popped into the deer's head, one that sounded absolutely crazy. One that would almost definitely get them discriminated against. One that could work however. Louis turned to the large wolf, his beautiful eyes gazing over the large animal who stared back with a half smile. "I can see why y/n likes you so much. '' Legosi chuckled, only now realizing how nice the deer was to look at. "How do you feel about sharing Legosi?" Louis asked with a soft smile. "Sharing is caring.. I guess, why?".

The wolf's eyes widened as Louis placed his hands onto the vest of his Cherryton uniform, gripping it lightly. "You'd better savor each second of this" the deer said before pressing lips against Legosi's. Y/n of course, wasn't expecting that and practically jumped in surprise. "Man what a twist" y/n spoke in awe. Legosi wasn't handling it much better, flailing his arms around while the deer continued lip contact. Once they were done the deer immediately turned to y/n, mimicking the same action but with much more passion this time. "Mfft.." y/n tried to speak, only to be kissed harder. "I just kissed Louis.. oh my god!" Legosi panted, running a clawed hand through his fur. Once  the deer was done with his fun he pulled away, taking a step back to look at the flustered expressions on both animals faces. 

"Oh yeah.. this'll work" the deer said, a smile growing on his face. "What the hell was that Louis?" Y/n said while crossing his arms. "Me fixing the situation" the deer responded. "What exactly did that fix?" Legosi asked while tilting his head. "Well.. if y/n can't pick between us two. Then all three of us should be together" Louis explained, only confusing them further. "I-i don't know..." Legosi spoke with uncertainty, glancing between both herbivores. If word got out he was dating not one but two herbivores then the entire school would probably think he was some kind of freak. "Do you have a better idea?" The deer asked while turning to Legosi. "N-no.." the wolf responded. Louis then turned to y/n, looking deeply into his eyes as he asked. "Are you okay with this?".

"I-i think so.."
