Summary
It was only hours later, when the hunger pangs grew overwhelming and Daisuke wouldn't stop complaining about how he was starving, that something shifted around them, motion in their periphery. Ken was immediately on edge, twisting and turning, trying to find the source of the movement, but Daisuke paused, frowning at coils of dirt-brown vines, only just noticing there were pink buds along the trailing feelers, a faint shimmer to the flowers.
"Hey, Ken?" he asked, bending close to one low vine and poking at a bud, Chicomon teetering atop his head. "You know what kind of plant this is? It's kind of…" He frowned. "It's kind of glowing."
Ken swallowed and padded closer, holding Leafmon close to his chest, to examine them as well. "The plant life here isn't anything like that in the real world," he said slowly, solemnly.
OR
Daisuke and Ken crash-land on a giant Petaldramon's back, and some very friendly vines offer them fresh fruit and are more than willing to help out when the fruit has some unforeseen side effects
