Summary
Yongbok seemed to shift on his back, giving Minho a bit of hope. But then, the slightest trace of the foul stench from earlier was made clear to him. A low growling sound erupted from behind him. Minho only ran faster, hoping to outrun whatever predator was catching up to him. He couldn’t die here, not with Yongbok’s life still in his hands. The growling only continued, as Yongbok shifted above him, getting louder. The words of the man at the base of the mountain rang in his ears.
“Don’t be out so late at night, Minho-ah. The demons are always out at this hour. You’d be wise to wait for the sun.” A demon. A demon had come through here. Minho only gripped Yongbok’s legs tighter.
