Summary
During childbirth, Drenan's wife sadly succumbed to her sickness, leaving him alone to raise their newborn daughter, Lyrah, despite the warning of a less-than-savory Farseer. Upon her fifteenth birthday, Lyrah elects to leave home as an adult tauren in search of adventure, but suddenly returns three years later to reunite with her loving father. Now considered an adult by all metrics, Lyrah finds herself with new feelings for Drenan that she struggles to understand, while grappling with the silent jealousy of his friendship with the druidess Shele.
Little does she know, Drenan, too, struggles with all-too-similar thoughts....
