Summary
Arthur startled when the heavy, wooden, stable door slammed open against the limewashed walls, as the boy he had been waiting for barged inside. He looked flushed as if he'd been running, his inky curls windswept and wild.
"I'm sorry," he gasped, "I've been running an errand for Diarmuid."
Arthur tried to hide his displeasure at Merlin's words. For months, Merlin had been going to meetings at Diarmuid O'Connor's house. Dangerous things were discussed there, about how to overthrow British rule and return Ireland to its people.
