Hey everyone! Ren here. So, I'm really sorry to do this to you all (right at the end of a very tense arc to boot), but this fic will be going on hiatus for a few months. To be honest, I'm very bad at writing longform fics like this, especially when they require weekly uploads, and it's been so long since I watched the series that I'm losing inspiration and my characterisation isn't as good as it used to be. I don't want to put out low quality chapters for you guys, and I don't want to force myself to write when I don't have any passion for it either. That's just not good for anybody. In addition to that, both of our exam seasons are right around the corner so studying for university is incredibly important right now. I hope you all understand.
Season 3 is set to come out some time in summer, so that could be anywhere between June and September. If it comes out in June, then I should be able to get right back into the swing of things, but September is when Uni starts for me so if it comes out then, I might keep the Hiatus going for just a month or two more until I've at least settled in. I know it's a long time to potentially wait, but I think it would be even worse to watch the fic devolve into something neither of us clearly have the energy for.
We have lots of ideas for this fic still so this isn't a cancellation or discontinuation of any kind! But we appreciate that the wait may be long so we understand if people are angry or disappointed, or if they don't return when chapter twenty-two finally does release. But if any of you do stick around, we will of course be incredibly grateful!
