Summary
The Drifter takes over in the Operator's timeline, struggling with the memories of two lifetimes. She recalls the version of herself that loved the Lotus like a mother figure, yet she is that person no longer. The feelings of that alternate self have matured now, into something hungrier and far more dangerous than she is willing to acknowledge.
Killing Archons in her name was one thing. And yet, living with her in the same Orbiter is quickly proving to be the hardest battle she has fought yet.
Little does she know... she is not the only one harboring feelings she can't control.
