Summary
"The Lonely Hero", "The Sad Knight", "The Soldier of the Suffering God" they called him. But nothing described him better than "The Monster Slayer."
Xenk knew very well what monsters were. He knew their essence in an intimate way. Sometimes, in the labile border between imagination and sin, he would close his eyes and slip his fingers inside him digging without much conviction. Then he always managed to touch the hidden monster and make it moan. And, invariably, he would shut it up.
Every day he would defeat the fiercest of beasts. He was sure he would never find a monster he couldn't smother, tame, destroy and mortify - for that was his calling, the purpose for which Xenk still roamed this world.
