   Summary

   Even the strongest imaginable men can shatter, their souls crushed to pieces. Even gods can break, crumbling into dust. Xie Lian ascends for the third time, but something’s not right. He has ascended with a stake through his heart and a coffin around his body. Death brought him to Heaven, but death also brought him to his breaking point.

   Mu Qin shatters when he sees his friend laying in a coffin covered in blood and pus, more corpse than god.

   Feng Xin withers with the knowledge that he left his highness, that he walked away from his friend in his time of need.

   They break and now they must be put back together. Kintsugi Is the act of taking broken pottery and repairing it with gold, making it into something even better. Xie Lian, Mu Qing, and Feng Xin are three broken gods who have to be pieced back together to become something better than they were before all the while they fight against an enemy even older than they are.
