   Summary

   Everyone is broken in their own way, an assortment of chipped pieces and hairline fractures earned through a life, but Hugh Ransom Drysdale was shattered all the way down to his soul. Too many years of being mishandled by uncaring hands that had never learned to mend had left him jagged. A broken home for a broken boy. A lifetime lived in wealth but little of it in value. The sharpness in him cuts because that is now he was made. Rounding out the edges into something that could be held without the promise of pain had never occurred to him before now.
