Summary
It's 1987 and Maisie Gallagher is one of the most famous actresses in the world as well as America's sweetheart. She can't escape the scope of her celebrity except when attending NYU where she studies English Literature in an attempt at something of a normal life. Still trying to get over a recent bad breakup and taking a break from her studies, her friend drags her to an exclusive club where she accidentally crashes Paul Stanley's birthday party. Maisie thought she was above getting lured in by a rock star's charm and charisma, but she's been wrong before. She knows she should stay far away from him, but he proves to be irresistible to her time and time again. If Superman's weakness was kryptonite, Maisie's was brown eyes and moonlight serenades.
