Able to survive nuclear bomb, given military money for science, can smell people with gene mutation, test what her blood does to theirs, Jacob bleed when helicopter shot down near him and Miller, gun hit back of head, sent in alone, track through sand and smell, kill guards quietly, Jacob grab her ankle, his gene mutation smell strong, carry him out to vehicle, put bodies in back to look like nothing wrong, drive until empty then carry him to outpost, unconscious for days, both share trauma, walk to sight unplug solar panel so signal blip catch attention, djinn burn and seizure Jacob, rush to sleep to meet, called sister and shown Joseph and nuclear end, 🍋 after comforting him, warn him she’s lived many lives compared to his 19y, plan to send him safe to Georgia if they decide he needs to be lab rat.
