These last weeks have been... tense in the farmhouse, it was hard to believe that New York had been taken by the Kraang and Leo still hadn't woken up, in all this time they'd all tried to help around in the house to be some kind of help, that included Mikey
He's been the one who takes over cooking and cleaning the house, and he wasn't going to lie it was soooooooooo boring, it was hard trying to keep up the good mood while everybody was feeling angsty, with the fact that nobody has been talking to him lately too caught up in their own emotions, made him feel lonely, ice cream kitty has been the only one to talk to him in days! well he was the one talking to her but you can't exactly blame him it was so silent lately, he didn't like the silence it always felt like he could drown in it
That's why he got so startled when from out of nowhere he heard a loud bang coming from the forest outside, after hearing that he rushed outside to see what in the world had happened, outside in the middle of the woods he saw a bright yellow light that had started dimming until he couldn't see it anymore, he was tempted to go toward that place but he figured out it was better to wait for this bros, but when they didn't after a few minutes he got a bit nervous, he isn't going to lie he's have been feeling on edge lately but whit everything that has been happening he thinks he has an excuse
He quickly made his way back to the house toward the bathroom where Raph had been keeping watch over Leo when he arrived at the door he opened it without even knocking, to his relieve Raph and Leo were still in there Leo still looking as dead as ever and Raph with the same angry face he's had these couple days, they where okay, but that immediately brought up another question in Mikey's head, "DUDE what's up with you didn't you heard that bang!?" He asked his brother who just stared at him with an annoyed look "Mikey im not in the mood for your bullshit right now, why don't you go botter Donnie or something?" Well that was just plain rude, so he just gave an offended look "What??? You didn't hear it?? We need to go investigate! I saw this weird light coming from-" he couldn't finish the sentence when his brother interrupted "SHUT IT MIKEY... im really not in the mood today so just go away!" Mikey just turned back and came out of the bathroom with a frustrated grunt, he knew when to drop it he's brothers never listened when they got like that
So he started going towards the bedrooms if he wasn't mistaken April was in her room sleeping she surely had been awakened by that sound right? When he arrived she was sitting up in the bed looking a little annoyed when he entered she turned to look at him and asked "Mikey what's up with all the ruckus??? You woke me up" he ran up to her and started shaking her "so I wasn't the only one who heard it!!! Come on we have to go tell Raph so we can go investigate and-" when he was just about to drag her to the bathroom she stop him "Mikey what are you talking about? I woke up because I heard Raph and you screaming at each other" Mikey couldn't believe it! "So you didn't hear that sound in the forest???" She looked confused for a second before coming up with a conclusion and with a sigh she looked at him with pity "Mikey are you sure it wasn't your imaginación? I mean not to be mean but neither I nor Raph heard anything and I doubt Donnie or Casey heard anything if they haven't come out of the barn, maybe you're just a little stressed from these last days" Okay maybe he was feeling a little bad now, really? Stressed???
"Why don't you take a break? You have been the one taking care of the house lately maybe you just need to rest a little" Wow she didn't believe him, to be fair he was apparently the only one who heard and saw that light, but still!!! Couldn't they at least try to check with him the forest? "Maybe you're right, I'm going to go see what I can find on TV..." he ofc wasn't going to watch TV he wanted to see what that was about but she didn't need to know, she probably was just going to worry more "Good, you should take a nap though you seem a little out of it recently I can't exactly blame you with everything going on" after that...weird interacción they both said they're farewells, the last thing Mikey saw in that room was April searching for something in the closet of the room,
So with that disappointing visit, Mikey found himself right in front of the forest, he didn't want to go but he HAD to check out what was that light and no, it wasn't because he liked shiny things it was a strange feeling that has been bothering this entire time since the light, he felt attracted to that place, to find the source of the light, but he still felt uneasy, like man this felt like the start of one of his horror movies, the next thing he knows he finds a horrible creature that murders him and he goes missing so his bros go to find him because of the previous conversation and then they start dying one by one and then then, ok FOCUS he was getting off track and that fantasy wasn't helping with his nerves at all, Mikey looked into the now dark forest night had just fallen a few minutes ago while he was still talking with April and isn't that great!? Just like in horror movies, so with one last grande towards the house, he murmured to himself "Raph if I die here I'm going to hunt you the rest of my life" and with that said and promise he started walking towards the depths of the forest,

After some time Mikey wasn't sure anymore what he was searching for, it had been about half an hour since he started walking and nothing strange had happened so far, honestly, he was about to give up and go back to the farmhouse when a strange light caught his eye it was very dimmed but he didn't care he finally found something! He started running towards the source taking notice of how along the path there were splashes of a weird yellow liquid he had never seen before those splashes were glowing a little but he didn't stop to see he instead kept running towards the largest source of light,
When he arrived he saw the same yellow liquid he'd been seeing along the path although it seemed to be more like there was a little Ball of energy covered in it, it was small but from where he was he could still feel a very powerful kind aura it was something he's never felt before it was kind of overwhelming, he didn't know what to do so he slowly started approaching and when he suddenly stopped when he heard a noise coming from that strange ball, a little sniffle and a voice so small he couldn't hear what it said, this was strange and something he didn't expect, he didn't know what to do!
So he just did the first he thought of
"Hey, little ball...thingy are you okay?" He asked as he ceased his approach, that little thing jumped startled by the New voice that it hadn't noticed, then started moving, and suddenly Mikey saw two little circles in the ball which he assumed were eyes because of the way they closed and opened "...who are you?" He heard a voice coming from the ball, well it didn't seem like a treat maybe it was some kind of alien that arrived to earth! "My name is Mikey little dude! What's your name?" The ball was trying to wipe little tears coming from its eyes when he answered "I'm... I.. I think my name is orange I don't remember... much.." well that was strange "So what are you? Are you some kind of alien? Do you come from another world?!" Mikey was getting excited when he remembered "Hey are you crying? Are you Hurt? Or um" the ba- orange looked at Mikey somehow even with only eyes he managed to look nervous "I'm not sure I think something bad happened, I feel so sad but I don't know why... everything hurts I don't think I'm in my body anymore, did I ever had a body?" Mikey wasn't sure what to do, on the one side he didn't know what orange was nor what his purpose was, on the other side he hadn't done anything so far he was crying when he arrived and he mostly sounded lost and sad... YOU KNOW WHAT? He didn't care what his brothers would tell him now, he wanted to help this dude, and he will,
So he started getting closer until he was right in front of him and he got to the floor to talk face-to-face with Orange and said "Dude how about I help you out? I'm not sure how to but you seem lost so maybe you can come with me, and be my friend! I'll help you remember everything!" Orange was stunned upon hearing this, he looked at Mikey's face searching for any signs of malice but he didn't find anything then he asked "Why would you help me? You don't know anything about me" "Well I do know you are sad and alone, I can't leave you alone dude! That would just be rude, and im not exactly know why but you feel familiar, somehow I do know you aren't lying... SO what do you say? We'll find out about you're surely dramatic Backstory together!" Mikey saw how Orange seemed surprised and maybe a bit hopeful, his eyes changed to crescents as he looked at him and said "Thanks for helping me I wasn't sure what to do anymore" Mikey looked at him and with a wide smile said, "no problem dude, that's what rad dudes like me do".
