Summary
After Virgil Storm is mysteriously whisked away to Fairyland without dealing with a fae, he vows to take down the fae responsible. To survive, he becomes a thief in the town of Elsyium, which is the capitol of the kingdom that belongs to one of the high princes. One day, he gets caught and is forced to make a deal with the High Prince of Rosewood. Deep in the world of elite fae, Virgil must use all his skills to stay alive and get revenge on the fae that ruined his life.
High Prince Roman of Rosewood was known for his temper as much as his strength, so it was a mystery to him why he couldn't kill a simple human. It was also a mystery why the human was in Fairyland in the first place. But this human was different than most. Difficult was a better word. Roman struggles as the human does everything in his power to defy him, but struggles further with himself. Is it possible for a heart to physically flutter?
