For two years she questioned herself and the Silver Crystal's importance. If the world, no if the galaxy would be better off without her. Was this the Cauldron's sick way of telling her to do it right this time? She had the chance to keep Mamoru safe, to keep the seal on her Silver Crystal from being broken. Was that why she was sent here? It was the only reason she could imagine. The timing was too cruel.
If the universe itself was going to keep tearing Serenity and Endymion apart no matter what she did to prevent it. If just being in love with Serenity was putting his very existence in danger. Then maybe it was better to let him go.
