A - Affection (How do they show affection? And how affectionate are they?)
Very affectionate. Surprise hugs and kisses are Amy’s go-to love language, but far from her only. If you’re walking together, she’s always going to want to hold hands and hold your arm close. She’s also incredibly vocal about it, with “I love you so much!” being in her Top 5 phrases, if not Top 3.
B - Best Friend (What would they be as your best friend? How would the friendship start?)
Probably the most supportive friend you’ll ever have. The two of you met completely randomly, when you gave her a much-needed hand, and she promised to pay you back. Since then, the two of you became fast friends, with the two of you baking together, gardening, and spending time with her other friends, like Cream and Blaze.
C - Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
Amy loves cuddling, especially after a long day. She seems to like being the little spoon, but isn’t opposed to simply embracing in each other’s arms. Frankly, as long as it’s with you, she’s not overly picky.
D - Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking & cleaning?)
It’s Amy’s dream to be your wife, and considers her cooking to be her “training” for it. She’s gone on record saying that she’d love to have kids, but the number, names, and other details vary based on her mood.
E - Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
It would be tearful and heartbreaking. But at the end of the day, if Amy ever felt like she was holding you back, or felt like the two of you simply weren’t the right fit for one another, she wouldn’t lie to you. She’d hope the two of you could still be friends, and she’d hope that you’d find someone that could make you the happiest.
F - Fiancé(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
Amy has stated several times that she’d like to marry you. As for how quickly, she seems happy with taking things slow. The way she sees it, she knows you’ll get married someday, so there’s no reason to rush things.
G - Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
It honestly depends.
Physically: if it’s in a fight? Not at all. Amy can take attacks from threats, and pay it back in spade, and if said that's got its eyes on you? Well... thoughts and prayers to their family. In the same vein, emotionally in a fight, Amy’s got nerves of steel, and won’t hold back, again, ESPECIALLY if you’re in danger.
However, if it’s just you, surprisingly, Amy might be the most gentle girl you know. She’s incredibly empathetic, and always wants to make sure you’re doing okay. It’s like night and day from when she’s in battle.
H - Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
ABSOLUTELY! Amy might just love getting hugs more than she loves giving them, especially from you. It’s literally impossible to count how many she’s given you, but if you had to guess the number, it’d probably be somewhere in the tens of thousands. Originally, Amy’s hugs were super tight (given her super strength, you shouldn’t have been surprised), but after asking politely, she loosened them a lot.
I - I Love You (How fast do they say the L-Word?)
Almost immediately. As mentioned before, Amy says it to you all the time, with no plans of stopping anytime soon.
J - Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
Before the two of you started dating, VERY. You’d constantly have to break up Amy and the girl who was supposedly “hitting on you”, but luckily, Amy seemed to mature out of this. Now that the two of you are dating, there’s almost no trace of this.
K - Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
Usually, tons of little pecks, and everywhere. Lips, cheeks, forehead, you name it. Though, in more romantic moments, way slower, deeper, she likes to grip on to you, as if to make sure you won’t let go.
L - Little Ones (How are they around kids?)
Loves ‘em, As mentioned before, wants to have a few of her own. It helps that one of her best friends IS a little girl, in Cream.
M - Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
She’s always the first person you see, regardless if the two of you are living together or not. Amy’s an early-riser and is always thinking of fun things for the two of you to do together.
N - Night (How are nights spent with them?)
If the two of you aren’t living together, it’s hard for Amy to leave your home, or let you leave her’s. She loves spending time with you so much, so it’s always super late by the time you end up parting ways. If the two of you are living together, she’s by your side at all times, no matter what you’re doing.
O - Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait awhile to reveal things slowly?)
Originally, you thought Amy was an open book. You thought when she spoke she was speaking her mind, and wasn’t holding anything back. But as the two of you got closer, Amy started to talk about even more personal things, like her fears, her dreams, things that haunt her, things she can’t live without. It changed your perspective on her, but it made you grow closer together.
P - Patience (How easily angered are they?)
Amy’s temper used to be a LOT worse than it is now. She tells you that feels like she’s mellowed out thanks to you, and the two of you have never gotten into an argument. That said, she will on occasion get angry and mundane things, but will try to calm down.
Q - Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every detail in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
Amy has never forgotten a single birthday or anniversary. She knows the kind of cake you like, the type of presents you like, or even what things you don’t like. You’re always amazed at how well she knows you, but her response is always “It’s because I love you!”.
R - Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
It may seem a little cliche, but it’s when you confessed to her. She debated for a long time if you ever would, but when you finally did it made her heart explode. She says it’s something she’ll never forget.
S - Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
Amy knows her life is full of danger, especially considering the fact that the FIRST time she tried to start a relationship, she was captured by Metal Sonic. That said, she does try to look after you, but won’t force you to stay behind if you wish to fight alongside her.
T - Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, and everyday tasks?)
110% Amy LOVES to treat you whenever she can, with gifts she knows you’ll like and big plans for special days. It eventually becomes a game between the two of you to see who’ll outdo the other.
U - Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
As mentioned before, Amy’s temper can sometimes get the best of her, which can lead to her being impulsive and potentially making a situation worse before it gets better. Luckily, you and her other friends can usually calm her down fast enough.
V - Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
A few years back, the answer was “yes”, and by a long shot. There was never a moment where Amy wasn’t trying to improve her appearance to look more “womanly”, had it been running, boxercising, or fighting. But, now that she’s with you, she doesn’t seem to care as much, but she does still love to do those things.
W - Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Yes, she would, and it’s something she’s told you before. Amy’s mentioned that, honestly, she’s afraid of losing you, and that’s why she’s the way she is. She’s afraid of letting you go, and you leaving her. It’s her biggest fear, and not something she brings up easily.
X - Xtra (A random headcanon for them)
Amy is INCREDIBLY strong. As in, she can casually lift things that you could never even begin to. Also, the rings on Amy’s wrists are training weights, and given how INSANELY strong she is with them ON, you’re almost afraid of how strong she is without them.
Bonus Headcanon: Amy actually has several hammers and each of them has a name (she even named one after you!).
Y - Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
Not being honest about your feelings, or worse, hiding something from her. Amy’s an open book, so it hurts when you aren’t as well. If something’s bothering you, Amy wants to know, she can either do something about it, or help you through it.
Z - Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)
Amy is a surprisingly heavy sleeper, which makes sense considering hedgehogs tend to sleep for long periods of time.
