Chapter Text

Thor, the Party Prince, was having the time of his life. This planet was awesome and he wished this party was never-ending. He did miss Jane though, he wondered where she was. Might as well call her.

Thor left the night club that he was in, a club in Rome. But before he called her, Jane’s number appeared on the screen of his Smart phone, didn’t look smart to him this device. Great.

“Pick up.” Jane muttered with anxiety in her voice. Darcy, the Doctor, and his companions were next to her.

Thor’s voice then appeared on the phone, “Jane! I was just about to call you! You should really try this food called pizza. It’s fantastic!” The party prince’s voice continued to babble on.

The Doctor was having none of it. So he swiped the phone from Jane and told the Party Prince, “Young man, listen to me!”

“Young man?” Thor said confused, “I’m at least several centuries old. I think. So if you mind I want to talk to Jane, this is her phone. Besides from what I heard about you Midgardians is that you guys barely live a century.”

The Doctor responded angrily, “I’m 900 years old and a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. Surely that means something to you?”

“Nope.” Thor said bluntly, “I would have heard of your kind during my studies. Besides a species that calls themselves Time Lords sounds very pompous to me.”

“Did you even pay attention during your studies on Asgard. Yes, I know of your kind as well. In several realities in fact. Though the last ones were little and gray.”

“Little and gray?” Darcy asked, “As in actual gray aliens?”

The Doctor a finger on his lip to let the assistant know not to interrupt him. He then said to the Party Prince, “Besides that I have to, reluctantly, warn you that you are in danger.”

“Yeah, from you boring me to death, you party pooper.” Thor responded, “Take my word, return that phone to Jane Foster or my hammer will go into a very uncomfortable place. Because I’m the God of Thunder! So good night party pooper.” The Party Prince then hung up.

The Doctor was infuriated. That boy deserved a jolly good smack bottom the Time Lord thought to himself. His two companions and two allies thought differently.

“Doctor.” Steven said with frustration in his voice, “Perhaps if you let Jane talk to him, then she might have’d convinced Thor to leave this Earth. Or do you think your blunt attitude will solve everything?!?”

“Besides Doctor, it’s not like that we can call his mother and end this party.” Vicki added in.

“That’s it!” Jane exclaimed with excitement.

“What do you mean… Ohh.” Darcy said as Jane’s idea formed in her head.

“What?!?” All three time travelers exclaimed in confusion.

Jane then answered, “If there’s a Thor on Earth, then there must be an Odin, a Frigga, and a Heimdal.”

“So basically what your is that we contact the Norse… well… Gods, if that’s how you describe them, try to find Thor’s parents and hope that they have the power to end this party.” Steven said with a let me get this straight voice.

Vicki, noticing Steven’s expression, said, “That seems to be the case. So Doctor. Jane. How do we contact the Norse Gods?”

The Doctor and Jane looked at each other and then smiled.

Meanwhile on the S.H.E.I.L.D. Hellicarrier, Coulson walked up to Fury and said, “I found it.” He then showed his boss a 1990’s pager.

Coulson handed it to Fury and who then pressed it. A red, blue, and yellow with a star-like symbol appeared on the image of the pager.

Then a few moments later a beautiful blond woman wearing the same symbol that on the pager said, “I happened to be in the neighborhood. What’s going on?”

“Welcome back Carol.” Fury said warmly.

With some equipment from the TARDIS, the metaphorical phone to Asgard was set up in a much quicker time than Jane and Darcy would have set up with their own equipment, including calculating the spacial coordinates where Asgard supposedly was, based on where the teleportation came from.

With that done, Jane and the Doctor (with help from his two companions) were on the top of the former’s van, with a transmitter set on top of the vehicle.

The two yelled one word.

“HEIMDAL!”

Captain Marvel flew across the Earth to where the Party Prince was, well, partying. So away she went. To Bombay, where Thor was reported to be spending his time right now.

Hopefully, Carol thought this would be a quick fight.

After a few minutes of nothing Jane sighed, “Nothing at all.”

“Threat not my dear.” The Doctor confided in his ally. “These signals take time cross the universe. I believe with my equipment of my TARDIS we might get a response…”

But before the Doctor could finish, he and Jane were suddenly teleported to who knows where.

Vicki, Steven, and Darcy could only watch in shock and hoped that the two scientists will solve the problem before things got ugly.

The Doctor and Jane were then suddenly teleported into a giant grand observatory that was shiny bronze in color. In the distance the two of them saw a magical looking rainbow bridge that continued into a bright shiny city. Jane was awestruck, while the Doctor had the expression of I’ve seen better.

At the center of the observatory was a large dark-skinned man wearing golden armor. Who looked at the two travelers as if expecting them.

The Doctor motioned his hand up and said, “Sir Heimdal, I presume. I am the Doctor and is my fellow scientist, Dr. Jane Foster.”

Jane was happy to be that was seen as an equal by an alien scientist.

The Doctor continued, “It’s about the young man that calls himself Thor. He’s a… How should I describe what’s going down on Earth? Ehh…”

Jane quickly stepped in. “He’s causing a giant party on my planet that…”

But before ether of them could continue Heimdal teleported them into a beautiful garden, in front of a table with three eloquently dressed women chatting and having drinks. They then noticed the two new arrivals.

The Doctor and Jane then spoke simultaneously, “Good day my lady./ Hello, Mrs. Odinwife.”

Jane then the drinks. “Is that chardonnay?”

“Dr. Foster, now’s not the time.” The Doctor said sternly. “Madam, we came here to talk about your son.”

Frigga listened to the two new arrivals.

Meanwhile Captain Marvel was closing on her target.

Thor, the Party Prince, was in her sight.

On the S.H.E.I.L.D. Hellicarrier, which was now in position of firing at Thor, Director Fury said three words.

“Arm the nukes.”

In a realm beyond humanity’s reach, a Time Lord and a human were explaining a weird situation to the Queen of Asgard.

“Ma’am, it’s your son, Thor…” The Doctor began to explain.

Jane interrupted him after sipping of what she assumed what was chardonnay. “Thor is on Earth and is partying really hard.”

The Doctor huffed, “Not exactly how I would have explained it. But your son and his friends are causing a giant ruckus. He won’t stop and the authorities on Earth have sent their most powerful hero to stop him. But I prefer to end this peacefully. So…”

Frigga just let out a giant sigh.

Thor was partying hard on the streets of Bombay along with his friends from both Asgard and beyond. He wished this party would never end. But of course that will all end in a few seconds.

“THOR, CROWN PRINCE OF ASGARD, ONLY SON OF ODIN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!”, Yelled a booming voice. Which Thor, the citizens of Asgard, and everyone that lived in the nine realms knew all too well.

A giant projection of Frigga was looming above the party that just suddenly stopped raging.

Thor was the first to speak, “Mother? What are you doing here? You must be using a lot of dark magic to check in on me.”

“I had two visitors. They were worried about you.” Frigga told her son.

“That Time Lord guy? Of course he would rat me out.” Thor stated.

“If your mean the white haired old man, yes. But also a young Midgardian woman.” Frigga told her son.

“Jane?” Thor said with shock, “But… But…” The Party Prince was at lose for words.

Frigga continued, “They told me that you were in trouble with the authorities on this planet. Well this stop’s now.”

Monitoring the situation on the Hellicarrier, Director Nick Fury was surprisingly pleased on how the situation turned out.

He then said, “Everyone, I think it’s best that we disarm the nukes as a sign of goodwill. After all, we don’t want to cause an interplanetary war with the gods themselves now do we.”

Agent Rumlow groaned and muttered, “We never get to fire the nukes.”

The aftermath of a planet-wide party will obviously result in a lot of cleanup after all. The various of partygoers, human and alien, all pitched in with the cleanup, ether out of guilt for the damage they caused, punishment in the form of community service, or both.

In Las Vegas, where the TARDIS was parked, the strip was mostly repaired thanks to Asgardian technology, as well as Gallifreyan tech from the Doctor’s TARDIS. Though there was some cleanup to be done in Vegas.

In all of this cleanup, the Doctor huffed.

“Doctor.” Vicki said with some confusion, “Why are you so grumpy. We ended Thor’s party and prevented an interplanetary war.”

“Well, my child. This was a waste of time, I feel that without our involvement  this situation would have resolved itself.” The Doctor explained to his companion with some frustration in his voice.

Steven, Jane, and Darcy walked up to the Time Lord and his companion.

“Well Doctor, I’m ready to go when you are. I think that I’ve had enough partying around on this Earth.” Steven stated to his friends. He then turned to Jane and Darcy, “It was nice meeting you two and…”

Steven stopped mid-sentence when a blue portal opened up and out stepped two women. Which closed immediately after the two women stepped out of it.

The first woman to step out of said portal was an Amazonian looking Polynesian woman, she wore black leotard that looked very beautifully on her. On her back was a Nifo’oti, a traditional large Samoan knife used by the warriors of Samoa, and a wooden shield inscribed with ancient Samoan carvings. The face of the Samoan woman had the face of a warrior with determination, but also compassion. Another woman emerged from the portal, a woman of Cambodian descent who was slightly overweight. Her face was one of excitement and optimism.

Darcy took one look at the Samoan woman and said, “Shoot, now I’m gay.”

The two woman then looked at the three time travelers. They all of the five visitors to Earth-2011 recognized one another instantly.

“Leslie, is that really you?” Vicki said with excitement, “I never you and Power Princess would show up here of all places.”

“Glad to see you again too Vicki.” Leslie Lim said with the same excitement in her voice.

Steven went up to the woman Leslie referred to as Power Princess, offered his hand to the Samoan Utopian, and said, “Glad to meet you again as well Zarda.”

“Please Steven Taylor, it’s Power Princess. But I’m fine that you are using my Utopian name.” Power Princess said with a voice of seeing a familiar voice.

“I’m sorry, but Power Princess.” Darcy said while trying to contain her laughter. “That name sounds like something from an 80s cartoon.”

“Her name might be cheesy.” Leslie said defensibly, “But she is one of bravest members of the SS I’ve ever have the honor to call a friend.”

“SS? Did I hear that correctly?” Jane said with some confusion in her voice.

“The Squadron Supreme, the primer superhero team of Terra. Like how the Avengers are to your world.” Power Princess said to the two scientists.

“We don’t have that on our world.” Darcy said to the two recent arrivals, “All we have is that Iron Man guy. Who’s power is being rich and having a fancy suit of armor, though he is handsome.”

“Ah, you have yet to find Captain America and groups like the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four have yet to form.” Leslie stated with guesswork. Before Jane and Darcy could say anything Leslie said, “This isn’t the first parallel universe we’ve been to.”

The Doctor then finally after getting out of his grumpy mood, “I think we should discuss why you two are here, though I am certain that I know why.”

“Right.” Power Princess said, she began to tell her story, “On our world, as Leslie said, I am a member of a superhero team called the Squadron Supreme. We protect our Terra from threats from within and beyond.”

“Terra, the Latin name for name for Earth?” Jane said with some confusion.

“Oh, you refer to your planet as Earth in this reality.” Power Princess stated the reason of her naming. She continued, “The strongest member of the Squadron Supreme is a man from another planet called Hyperion. He is one of the most honorable man I have ever met. But a few weeks ago in my universe, a Hyperion from a different universe came to mine. But unlike our Hyperion, he was evil incarnate. The other Hyperion caused damage and destruction to various parts of Terra.”

Darcy interrupted, “Did the evil guy have a goatee like the evil Spock in Star Trek?”

Power Princess looked confused, but she continued, “No, but his smile was one of evil. It took not just our Hyperion to drive his evil counterpart off our universe, but the might of the entire Squadron. He fled into the multiverse, we fear he may cause more destruction on other worlds.”

“Great, after dealing with Thor’s party we now have to deal with an evil jerk with the similar powers.” Darcy stated.

“Thor’s party?” Leslie said with confusion, “I thought he was one of the strongest Avengers.”

The Doctor then said with disappointment, “The Thor of this universe is an oblivious party animal who would rather be a buffoon than be a noble warrior like you, Power Princess.”

“Weird, guess that’s the multiverse for you.” Leslie stated her observation.

“Perhaps if Thor swayed into the right direction, he might become the hero that I’ve seen throughout the multiverse.” Power Princess said with hope.

“I might be able to do that.” Jane said, “But also that Captain Marvel gal could be a match for him. Plus what other things S.H.E.I.L.D. has hidden up their shelve. Also Doctor, how do you know these two?”

The Doctor explained his side of this tale, “My companions and I landed on the Squadron’s world after the evil Hyperion was driven off their universe. After convincing the Squadron we were on the side of good, we did our best to repair the damage caused by that… thing.”

What the Doctor didn’t tell the two scientists was upon arriving in the Squadron Supreme’s universe, the superhero team were mistrustful of the time travelers at first. So Power Princess used her Rope of Honesty on the Doctor, who told her the truth. Including that he was Time Lord and that he had the ability to change his appearance and personality when dying via regeneration. The name of his species and a power which he never told his companions about, with the exception of his granddaughter, Susan.

The Doctor continued, “After we helped the Squadron on repairing their of the damage, we received a sample of an element called Argonite. A stone that can harm him with a certain type of radiation unique to his species. Which is the reason why you two are here, hmmm.”

“Yes.” Power Princess answered.

Leslie then pulled something out of her pocket, a red stone that glowed a strange sort of energy.

“That rock is supposed to harm this supervillain that you guys are all afraid of?” Darcy said with both humor and confusion in her voice.

“This rock may not look like much.” Leslie explained, “But, I’ve seen my Hyperion fall to his knees when he is near it.”

“Also Hyperion’s defense against magic is no different when compared to humans.” Power Princess stated.

Leslie then handed the Argonite to Jane.

“Thanks.” Jane said, “I’ll be sure to let S.H.E.I.L.D. and Asgard know of this evil Hyperion guy.”

“Use the Argonite wisely and be prepared for Hyperion.” Power Princess said. After that she and Leslie disappeared into nothingness.

The Doctor answered before Jane and Darcy could answer, “They were pulled back into their universe when the energy of the device that they were using ran out of power. Now I think is the time in which we say farewell.”

Vicki hugged Darcy and said, “Goodbye Darcy. I hope that we meet again under less crazy circumstances.”

“I’ll miss you to kid.” Darcy replied.

Steven shook Jane’s hand and said a simple goodbye.

With that the three time travelers entered into the TARDIS and continued into the wider multiverse.

Director Nick Fury of S.H.E.I.L.D. was finishing explaining to Captain Marvel, Agent Phil Coulson, and Frigga the story that Steven Taylor came from, mainly the story of Hyperion.

“Interesting that the Fox Theory is real.” Coulson said with a little bit of excitement in his voice.

“Indeed.” Frigga said with fascination, “A being on equal par with my son, possibly even my husband. That is a frightening possibly.”

“Well, I have an idea.” Fury explained, “I have several candidates. Your son Frigga, you Carol, and Stark. Plus I can think several others as well.”

Fury then looked at several photos. The first was a red haired woman in jumpsuit who could take down a thousand men. The second was of a brownish blond man with bow and arrow who looked like he was a good shot. The third was of a giant green hulking monster. Their were several of Carol and Thor. The final one was of a man covered in ice dressed in red, white, and blue. But Fury knew he was a legend.

“An idea which I call the Avengers Initiative.”

The End… For Now.

Notes:

I hope you guys enjoyed this fic. It didn’t pan out when I initially came with the idea that started this fic. Ohh well, I hope you fans enjoyed it anyway.

The gray Asgardians is, of course, a reference to Stargate.

Got several ideas in my head for more Infinity Crisis spin-off fics. So don’t expect me to be gone for long.

Also I’d like to thank Ben2Dartmouth for the suggestion of Power Princess and Leslie Lim handing the Argonite to Jane, when I originally thought of Amphibian as the one doing it.

That’s all folks. Tofa and see you fans next time.
