Today was the day the world would of Harrison Lupin-Prince- Black as the crowned king of magical Britain.
Harry himself sat calmly in his bedroom in the castle of Serpens, having moved his family there once it was completed. He glanced into the mirror at the boy who was reflected back and winced. He may have come back in time but he didn’t feel ready for this. He fiddled with the gold buttons of the white dress suit he wore, his confidence wavering. His hair had been tied into a simple ponytail at the nape of his neck and his suit tailor made from scratch by an Italian designer at Narcissa’s insistence. Taking a breath Harry simply stood, the ceremonial rapier at his side and strode from his bedroom as he made his way to the throne room. Goblin guards lined the walls, all standing to attention as he passed silently. They had been loaned to him until he could get his own guards up and running again which would be a matter of days if Onyxfire had any say. He briefly looked out of the window to see a whole swarm of people just outside the newly built gates, reporters and new citizens alike. He entered the throne room almost silently to see his family currently occupying benches beside his throne and two smaller thrones either side of his newly built one. The wood had been stained black, showing his status as Master of Death and the chair was rather small in height, no tall pointed back just a square mid sized chair. The seat cushions of each chair were green with silver accents and the banners above now held his family crest and colours. He and his destined mates would be crowned today, his family now known to the world and his duties would begin. He gestured for Blaise and Theo to take their seats as he stood in front of his throne and called out “Open the gates, let them in to bear witness to the crowning of their King!” and with that the gates were opened by four goblins as the masses flooded in.
Soon the hall seemed too small as Lords and Ladies of Ancient and Noble houses took the first benches with the Minister and news reporters on the one behind. His LOS was on the first benches with their families, soon to be sworn knights and vassals if they accepted. Chatter echoed off the stone walls as people lines the entire room, it spilling out onto the steps and the brand new pavilion. Screens were placed outside so those not inside could bear witness to the crowning of the King and new advancements had let to a live broadcasting of sorts to be seen by all. Harry stood on the raised dais watching them all, scanning for threats but also to make sure everyone important was here.
Once everyone was mostly settled Sirius stood, having been named Steward of the Royal house it was his job to make sure the crowd behaved and ensure the crown was handled right. “Thank you all ladies and gentlemen, creatures and Fae. I, Sirius Black-Lupin-Prince welcome you today to the grand opening of the City of Serpens, the new Throne of England.” Many cheers went up as Sirius worked the crowd, his natural charm helping excite others. “Today we witness the crowning of your King to be Harrison Lupin-Prince-Black and his consorts Theodore Thor Prince nee Nott and Blaise Lorenzo Zabini. I would like to thank the Goblin King Ragnock the third and his Master Blacksmiths for their quick work in reviving the crowns.” Ragnock simply bowed his head to Harry who in turn gave a nod of appreciation and a slight goblin bow. A goblin then came forth with the pillow and on it sat a beautiful crown. It was silver in colour and had three simple prongs on the front. At the base of each of these prongs sat a gem, one sapphire to represent Theo, one ruby to represent Blaise and one Onyx to represent his status. The cushion was passed to Sirius as he carried it to Harry who knelt down, sideways on to the crowd and awaited his oath.
The room flashed gold and then black as two figures appeared behind the throne, a woman who shone like the sun with golden hair and skin pale as freshly fallen snow. Her eyes were no set colour and her aura was warm and loving, a tinkling laugh accompanied her arrival as she almost floated around the throne and towards Harry. The second figure was known to the public, having made an appearance at Dumbledore’s trial. Death merely shook his head as he too moved around the throne and towards his master. Harry was astounded, this not being part of his coronation plan but a welcomed addition non the less. He made a motion to Sirius to continue and the man shook himself out of the shock and stood in front of Harry. He smiled down at his son and began:
“Do you Harrison Lupin-Prince-Black, swear to uphold and perform your duties as sworn King of Magical Britain to the best of your abilities? To cherish and protect each citizen regardless of race, gender, ability or creature status? Do you bear the weight of this crown from now until you abdicate to future children or in the event you shall pass?” Not at sound could be heard as Harry raised his head and looked at Sirius “I, Harrison James Lupin-Prince-Black swear upon my life and magic that I shall care for, cherish and protect my people. In health and sickness and through the hard and the easy times. As witnessed by Lady Magic and Lord Death I take these vows upon myself and my crown. So mote it be.” And the echoes of ‘So mote it be’ sounded from the two deities as they each touched a shoulder, the crown being placed on his head and the throne glowing as it accepted him. Cameras flashed and the Wizarding Wireless narrated for all to hear and Harry was sworn in as King. He rose from the floor then and turned to the citizens “My people, I welcome you into a golden era of peace, let us rebuild and recuperate from the devastation of the last forty years. Now we bear witness to the crowning of the King’s Consorts!” and with that both Blaise and Theo were sworn in, their crowns a little less than Harry’s but still just as magnificent. The crowd cheered as all three stood united, hand in hand as they watched those who they were to lead.

Days later when the partying finally stopped and the castle was quiet once the new monarchs emerged from the inner depths of the castle and into the new city to greet their people. The goblins now occupied the mountains of the valley, having the ability to be above ground doing wonders as they now had the ability to install windows and see the sun for longer periods of time. Ragnock made that mountain their new seat of Power and it was known as Blue Mountain, for their family colours. The city itself soon became full with businesses filling the streets and citizens clamouring to get the best spots close by. Many wanted to be close to the seat of power and in doing so close to the King. Many dignitaries and world leaders came within the weeks following to welcome the new monarchs and hopefully gain alliances with Britain. Many Creature rulers also arrived to give their approval and leadership over to Harry who merely explained that they could keep their rule so long as they agreed to a shared council for urgent things. Many were grateful for this and expressed their happiness at not having to relinquish their crowns.

10 years Later – Epilouge
Harry, Blaise and Theo
Ten years flew by quickly and the peace and quiet that had followed was new and blissful. Harry had ruled fairly and had created several new laws that stood for discrimination and allowed things like leniency on house elves, goblins were now allowed wands should they choose and wixen were to start their education sooner than eleven. New departments popped up to ensure the safe removal of wixen children from muggle homes should it be needed and placed into pureblood families where they would be accepted and tutored. Harry, Blaise and Theo had actually managed to conceive triplets of their own through a potion Severus created. It was Theo who bore the children and carried the triplets till full term and on a stormy October night Elvira, Akasha and Castor were born. Much to their credit they looked like a full mix between the three boys and their birth was celebrated with a three day national party in which most of the wizarding world stopped.
Harry only grew in confidence the more he ruled and in doing so united the factions and their rivalry. He was fair and just but also known for his brutal and no nonsense punishment style should you break the laws. Not many had sent assassin’s to try and kill him but there had been attempts and all thwarted before they could do damage. Many were simply killed by Death who took their souls to limbo for attempting to kill his master but others were publicly pushed through the veil and sent to Death that way.
Severus, Remus and Sirius
The three fathers of Harry’s had loved watching their children grow, when they gave them grandchildren thanks to Severus’ potion they were ecstatic and had cried happy tears for days. They had watched Gwen and Faolan grow into themselves and get their education at the improved Hogwarts. They had both been placed in Hufflepuff and had found their mates in two Ravenclaws who were siblings of Lee Jordan and Penelope Clearwater. They had achieved full marks and were now apart of Harrisons guard training programme...wanting to learn to protect their brother.
Severus had also gotten pregnant from his own potion and given birth to a little girl in early May, naming her Cassisopia the second or Cassie for short. She had been the first birth from his potion and their little miracle baby as she burst into the world screaming and showing off the Black family metamorphgus genes. She was the first of the new generation to exhibit the ability and quite often enjoyed teasing her fathers with her changes.
Regulus
After the coronation Regulus went to find his old school friend Barty Jr and learning from Harrison had Crouch Snr arrested for the illegal use of the Imperious and rescued Barty from that house. He and Narcissa helped heal Barty and soon old flames rekindled and Regulus and Barty begun courting again. Without his mother’s hatred and without Crouch Snr’s meddling the men were free to explore their love for one another and had married shortly after the courtship was announced. They had welcomed Winky into the Black elves and now she wasn’t hurting from her bond she was able to serve her family better and didnt devolve into a drinking habit. The Black Townhouse became their residence and it was redone to suit Regulus and Barty’s taste...which was rather gothic but not gloomy.
The Malfoy family
The Malfoys became closer to Harrison and family after the coronation, taking up a family wing in the palace and overall staying as advisors and family. Narcissa gave birth to two more children, a boy and a girl named Petal and Meridan. Lyra had grown to be a beautiful replica of her mother and a Slytherin like the rest of her family. She had many wanting her hand but none succeeded as her veela side showed and she found her mate as she left Hogwarts, being the mate to Gabrielle Delacour.
Draco found his mate a couple of years after the coronation, the bond being blocked by Dumbledore and it was only as he went for a second cleanse did it get broken. He found Viktor in the world cup when they came to greet the players and instantly he knew that he had found him. Victor practically pounced on him there and then, much to Harry’s amusement, and the two were inseparable from there onwards. They married shortly after and Viktor moved to Britain to be with Draco.
Lucius gained the Chief Warlock position and then later the Minister of Magic position by a landslide, having the backing of Harrison and the sway of the Dark faction helped his campaign and so far he hadn’t been voted out. Although busier he found time for his children and family and never missed a late night poker game with Harry.
The League of Shadows
Each member of the League became sworn knights to Harry, taking up positions in Harry’s court as strategists, generals and commanders as well as general public liasons and of course the seer and healer. Luna and Neville married after they left Hogwarts and had one child which they named Apollo. They lived just outside of Serpens but were always there for when Harry needed them. Pansy, Vince and Greg married too, the courtship coming as a total surprise as not many knew they had even liked each other. Daphne finally plucked up the courage and got engaged to Susan who was well on her way to leading the DMLE and taking after her aunt. Both girls were career driven so it worked out well that they were both in the ministry. Fred married Angelina and George married Lee in a double ceremony which lasted two days and had lots of pranks and fireworks...causing quite the ruckus but none the less spectacular. They own a chain of shops which spans the country and internationally but still work in their little shop on Diagon where it all began. Tracy and Millie found their partners in the muggle world and became professors at Hogwarts for some of the new subjects that were introduced but were still the biggest gossips going.
Hogwarts
Once Dumbledore was removed as Headmaster Filius Flitwick was placed in charge, McGonagall had retired once Dumbledore left so he chose Sprout to be his deputy and he made history by being the first half creature to be headmaster of Hogwarts. A lot changed once the bans on subjects were lifted and lots of subjects were reintroduced. Warding, spellcraft, duelling and languages became an instant hit. The OWL and NEWT scores skyrocketed now the education wasn’t being smothered and soon Hogwarts regained its notoriety in the world. The house system became more and more relaxed, the rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor became none existent and with it the calmer and more education focused environment bloomed.
The apprenticeship programme also returned so that many could gain their Mastery in Britain and with new subjects came new teachers and new minds. Many enjoyed the profession and the curse officially broke on the position of Defence Against the Dark Arts, it’s permanent teacher became Remus Lupin. Hogwarts grew in intake and size and the magic that fuelled the consciousness of the castle sent back what she was given which was care and happiness. She flourished for the first time in years and was able to rejuvenate the students within. The Founders helped guide and watch the students from their portraits, happy that for once they had a competent Headmaster and Deputy who were willing to listen to them.
Magical Britain
Changes happened across Britain after Harry was crowned too, whilst not exactly hiding the wixen of the country did better to hide themselves from muggles. They didnt want their world discovered too quickly and it was thanks to an updated book series on the muggle world that allowed them to step into the correct century and learn how better to hide. The muggleborn students were assessed for any risk of harmful homes and a new department sprung up to aid and retrieve these children should the need arise. If they were found to be at risk they would be removed, the parents obliviated and they would be placed into pureblood homes where they would be blood adopted and then tutored on the wizarding world. If the home was deemed safe then an NDA was signed that forbid them speaking about the magical world to those who didnt know and there was a magical shield placed on the house so that any accidental magic could be contained and kept hidden.
In the years of peace the nation thrived, new generations were born in a baby boom and many of the less fortunate families could now attend Hogwarts due to scholarships. Knockturn Alley was remodelled as was Diagon and they were expanded to accommodate more businesses. The other allies also got a glow up and soon they were almost unrecognisable. Britain thrived under the rule of Harry and many celebrated his coronation with parties and shopping.
Albus Dumbledore
Albus Dumbledore had awoken in Numenguard after his sentence and instantly faced with Gellert. The man was smug as he explained he had been the one to ask for him to be placed there and now they were imprisoned forever. Dumbledore had tried everything for the first year or so to escape but every time he failed and weakened himself further , until one day he gave up and played chess with Gellert. Harry had visited him only once and that was to simply say he had wished things could have been different but he chose his path when he killed his sister. Dumbledore hated Harry with a passion and spent more of his remaining days cursing the boy’s name.
He died seven years into his sentence as Harry visited one last time and sent a simple Avada Kedava at him. Gellert had asked to be laid to rest too, not wanting to be lonely and so he too was sent to death and Harry had laid them in bed together, side by side in their final moments. In the end his name only remained in history books as a footnote to the reign of Harrison Lupin-Prince-Black...nothing more and nothing less. Not a hero, not a saviour...simply a hurdle in the time before the reign of their monarch.
Lord Death and Lady Magic
Death had returned to his realm shortly after Harrison’s coronation, knowing he needed to return to his duty and not lounge around as a ferret. He still watched over his master from his office and was fiercely protective of him but not always present. Once Harrison’s children were born he reappeared for a short time to get to know them and help guide them along the path of future master or mistress so that he could keep the Peverell line alive. And if he got to snuggle with three adorable children as a ferret than only his master and Lady Magic knew.
Lady Magic watched Harrison grow into a magnificent leader and was happy when the worship of the olde ways returned. She breathed a sigh of relief as new Magic flowed into Britain and was able to be rejuvenated each cycle...no longer stagnant and stale. When Dumbledore passed and his spirit was sent for judgement she may have been a bit spiteful and forbidden him from Summerland and instead created a pocket dimension just for him in which his endless torment awaited...after all no one messed with her honorary nephew.
The world breathed a sigh of relief and as Harrison looked out to his city he smiled, he was finally able to just be him. Theo came up behind him and hugged his waist as he leant his head on his shoulder. Blaise had come beside him and put a hand around both waists as he pulled them into him and smiled, their love strong and bottomless. “I did it...I started again and solved the issues.” Harrison whispered as he leant against his mates. Both men smiled at Harry, content that he was happy.
