Summary
“What kind of game.” The growl, really, isn't him playing. One of the joys, he's found, of the last couple months, is that Jaskier has invited, at every turn, the parts of Geralt that are so monstrous. He's never going to get used to it, but he's also not going to question it. He's done questioning it, when it comes to Jaskier. If Jaskier likes something about him, he believes it. They're done lying to each other. They'd said as much. So when Jaskier tells him something, he believes, even when it's impossible.
What a concept. To talk to each other, and not have the words laid with traps.
Or, Jaskier and Geralt are finally happy together, and they slowly make the trek home to Kaer Morhen.
